1. Vacation

I walked into my room feeling the soft mattress ease my tired body as I sunk drifting to sleep when my mom busted through the door. I twitched and almost had a heart attack as my mom yelled and said that we were  going on vacation. I was a little confused because our family literally goes nowhere. I always begged her to go at least go 100 miles within this place for fun but she always told me that there is no need to. Sadly the only vacation time I had was going to weddings of funerals which aren't all that fun. My mom told me it was more of a bachelorette party and of course the fun goes away. I love my mom but I really wish we could go sightseeing or anywhere but here and talk about all the things that came to thought.

Apparently we were going to Hawaii I bet it would be beautiful and for some reason I was nervous. I guess because going through TSI makes me feel like I have a gun or something. So I packed my things and my mom and I took off to the airport. I was able to go to bars and all being 24, I liked bars but to many guys hit on me there. Sure I like the attention but at certain points I feel like a toy to them, they see a 5'7 girl with green eyes and brown hair and possibly think wild thoughts. It makes me uncover their true intentions and it makes me uncomfortable and disgusted. I have really never had a  boyfriend that treated me like a princess but I have had some occasional hookups with men who don't ... anyways I guess I am a bit of a hypocrite.

I got on the plane finally being able to rest my eyes for the long unknown journey ahead. I awoke to us waiting for the other plane to arrive already knowing that I would become grumpy and agitated. Hey mom I asked she looked at me and answered with a yes. What are we even going to do and whose party is it I laughed. She smiled at me and said your cousin mikayla's  bachelorette, and for the other question we are going to stay at a resort and go snorkeling  etc... As I stated before how grumpy I would get well it was happening this little bastard of a kid was kicking my seat and putting his bare feet on the chair rest. I looked at his feet and was horrified his toenails were long and dirty. I almost gagged and out of nowhere his feet disappeared to come back to kicking my seat. My back was bending and my head looked like I was listening to heavy metal. My mom turned to me and cracked a little laugh then turned to the kid and looked at his dad. Excuse me sir. SIR!!! She yelled he woke from his sleep and looked at my mom. Your son is kicking my daughters seat. I turned around to look at the dad then *WACK* that little fuck got smacked in the back of the head. I had to bite my lip to stop laughing I mean it's not nice but I couldn't help it. We finally made it and I looked out my window amazed by the beautiful scenery and that's when I finally felt peace.

Before we got in a Uber that same annoying kid came out and started playing, he stepped on my foot so I tripped him on accident of course. I mean that kid should really go play on the freeway whoops. We got in the Uber and I kept staring at the beautiful sunset sky and the sound of the waves getting lost in a fantasy world.

I entered the building and there were camera flashes everywhere and it blinded the fuck out of me . I was confused then I turned my head to see Ian Somerhalder. Wait WTF I stood in place staring at him with his attractive eyes, sharp jawline, and masculine build. I died then and there he was so damn perfect my eyes teared of joy and my heart instantly forgot to beat.I tried to get a photo and autograph but there was to many people.

I stayed for a while staring at him and then he called attention to everyone and I froze and listened he told everyone that he will be staying here for possibly 2 more days so I knew I would get what I wanted ;) Wow wait no I can't come on to him like that he has a wife and a kid and I'm some dumb young adult with very detailed and naughty thoughts about him. And when I saw him they all rushed to the surface.

I was so bored and I looked at the clock and it read  11:00pm and I got fed up with just being in the hotel room and I wanted to explore so I walked around the resort I was very paranoid and I always kept my guard up. I was roaming the halls when I heard someone talking I was curious being the person I am I eavesdropped.I heard a male voice saying "Nikki and I are in the rough right now and I'm scared for my little girl because I can't have her growing up with split parents" I gasped and I think he heard me.

I turned around and felt someone grab my arm with such strength. It was Ian! He pinned me against the wall lightly and began to interrogate me. I told him what I heard and he looked me in the eyes deeply. He then told me I had beautiful eyes.

Now I was more confused than ever I thought he was mad at me or something but then again he is Ian Somerhalder and he did just say I have beautiful eyes. What is your name stranger, he asked lightly backing away from me I told him. He then said You cannot tell anyone the press will have a field day and Nikki will end up getting more mad at me. He looked so helpless then his eyes went dark "Meet me in this exact spot same time, and if you don't you will be punished"
