Awsten~One

I was so anxious, Awsten would be getting home any minute and I was trying to figure out how to tell him. I threw all the pregnancy tests away and went to our room.

I sat on our bed, patting my knees and running my hand through my hair.

This was really gonna happen. I'm gonna be a mom. And oh god, I was so happy and nervous. How would he handle it? It's Awsten, he'll understand.

"Honey, I'm home!" Awsten said jokingly in a sing-song voice. I heard him shut the door and come upstairs. "Babe?" He called, getting closer to the room.
"I'm in here," I said softly, lying down on our bed. He walked in and smiled, laying down beside me.

He lied his head down on my stomach after kissing me and sighing. "How was your day?" He whispered, playing with a string that was on my shirt.

"Good, yours?" I asked, playing with his faded blue hair. Everything was going swell so far.

"Well, we were busy in the studio today, and Geoff wouldn't stop goofing off," he said, chuckling softly. "I missed you." He said, scooting up the bed, so he was facing me now while he was leaning on his elbow with his face resting on his hand.

I smiled and brought my hand up to his hair again, twirling it while he put his hand on my waist.

"Awsten..." I said softly, breaking the silence and the eye contact.

"Yeah?" He asked softly, rubbing my side.

I stayed silent for a few moments before taking a deep breath and looking him in the eye.

"I'm pregnant." I said bluntly, causing him to stop his movement.

"Are you sure?" He asked, sitting up.
I nodded. Before I could do anything, he lifted me up and kissed me passionately. He put his hands on my waist and started doing a silly dance with me.

"Babe, that is the best news I've heard in a while," he said, looking me in the eye.

I smiled and kissed him, my hands behind his head yet again. He smiled into the kiss as we jumped onto the bed.

"We're going to have a beautiful future, future Mrs. Knight." He said, holding my hand and kissing it.
I've never been this happy.

*skip to a few months later because I'm lazy*

I woke up with a terrible feeling in my stomach. I grabbed Awsten's arm tightly and shook him.

"Awsten, wake up. Something's wrong." I said, wincing I'm pain as he woke up.

He turned on his bedside lamp and looked at me intently. "Babe, are you okay? What's wrong?" He asked just as I winced in pain.

Tears were forming in my eye as I shook my head. "Call someone please, Aws- agh!" I yelped, crying. He grabbed his phone and keys before helping me get up.

When he threw the covers off, blood was everywhere on my side. Of course I didn't notice this because I was too busy almost falling in pain.

He helped me to our car as I got in, crying and holding my stomach.
"It's alright, baby. Everything's going to be okay, I'm going to take care of you," he said caringly while starting the car and driving off quickly.

*skip ride to hospital*

I was in a hospital bed, worrying my head off while Awsten was holding my hand. The doctor had come back and Awsten looked up. It pains him to see me like this.

"Mr and Mrs Knight, I'm afraid I hold some unbearing news. It seems like you have lost your child, I'm very sorry for your loss." He said.
Everything stopped. The world stopped spinning. I stopped breathing. Nothing else mattered other than the news I had just received. I had nothing else to do other than start sobbing while Awsten hugged me while he was crying.

He rubbed my hair and kissed my head repeatedly while I was crying. We lost our baby.
