I made my way down the halls to my favorite class; music composition. Instead of going to lunch, I always went to this class.

The teacher was always cool with it and always left the room to go to things while I stayed and playing the instruments. He had a keyboard in the front of the class, acoustic guitars all lined up on one wall, even a small section for ukuleles. All the other school band instruments were placed on the shelves and lockers in the back.

Truly, this wad always my favorite room, just because there are so many options. I went to get my beautiful guitar I kept on the wall, pulling it out of its case and putting a capo on the first fret.

I always made random songs and strummed random chords that sounded good together. After awhile, I started playing Zombie by The Cranberries.

I was switching chords while singing, paying no attention to the boy that had just walked in. It wasn't until I got finished with the chorus that I heard him trip over something, making me jump and turn around quickly.

I quickly stood up and looked at him; He tripped over another trumpet case that was on the ground. He stood up and looked at me, saying nothing.

"Um, how long have you been there?" I ask awkwardly, hoping he didn't hear much.

    He shrugged and smiled slightly.

"Kinda for it all,"he said. He adjusted the beanie he had over his short, curly hair.

I slightly sighed and ran my hands over my face before looking at him.

"You mind not telling anybody about this? It's kinda embarrassing," I said. He looked genuinely confused.

"Why? That was great," he said, chuckling. I smiled shyly and pursed my lips.

"Not really, but thanks. Um, sorry for asking, but is there anything you need?" I ask, looking at him. He was holding a set of drumsticks in his hand and opened his eyes wide, remembering what he came in for.

"Oh, erm, yeah, actually. Ha ha, he told me to come and drop these off during an off period of mine," he said, gesturing to the drumsticks.

"Neat. You play drums," I ask.

"Um, yea, I'm hoping to start a band with my friends soon,"he said. I nodded and looked around the room.

He went over to the teachers desk that was in the corner of the room and set them down before turning to me.

"I'm Otto, by the way,"he said. I nodded and shook his hand.

"Are you not going to tell me your name?" He asks, chuckling slightly. I shrugged jokingly.

"I don't know, maybe. Maybe not. Depends,"I said.

    "On?"

"If you tell anybody about this,"I said, gesturing to the guitar. He raised his eyebrows and nodded.

"Pinky promise,"he said, sticking out his pinky.

I rasied my eyebrow and looked at him.

"Just do it, this is the only way to ensure security and protection. Thy pinky shalt not lie," he said, shaking his pinky.

I slightly rolled my eyes and chuckled before sticking out my pinky and intertwining it with his.
