*Payton's POV*
I was laying on one of the lounge chairs by the pool reading a book. It had been several days since I had returned home and honestly I'm ready to leave. My mother had been more controlling than ever and had now decided our whole family is going to go on a cleansing diet.
I started to drift off with the warm sun beating down on my back, when suddenly I looked up and saw an object flying towards my head.
"Lookout," someone screamed.
SMACK!
"I'm so sorry, are you okay?" I heard someone yelling to me.
I glanced up at the pool and saw a football floating in it. My head was throbbing where the football had hit me.
"Oh god, are you ok, oh god?" A worried voice carried over the thumping in my ears.
"What?" I managed to get out.
"I said are you okay, that football came flying at you pretty hard."
I finally looked up at the person talking to me, but my sight started to blur and I could only make out the person's golden colored hair and tan skin.
Then everything went black.

I heard voices mumbling as I started to come to.
"What did you do?" The first voice asked.
"Crap, I don't know, I improvised I guess." The second one answered.
"So you accidentally knock our boss’s daughter out and then drag her into the barn so nobody finds her until she wakes up?"
"Well, yeah."
"Oh god we are so fired, our dads were right we can't keep a job."
I started to flutter my eyes open as the two continued bickering and tried to sit up, only to be met with an excruciating plain through my head.
"Shit, is she waking up?"
"I think so, what are we going to say?"
When I finally sat all the way groaning the whole time I saw Cameron and Jackson looking at me. My head felt like it was being smacked by a hammer.
"Is this what a hangover feels like?" I wondered aloud holding my head.
"Close but no, that's what it feels like to get knocked out by a football," Jackson responded trying to stifle his laugh.
"Don't be an ass," Cameron cut in and scolded Jackson.
I didn't really care what had happened at this point and just wanted to go curl up in bed so I turned to the two of them and said, "Well I don't really care, so can I leave now?"
The two of them paused slightly startled that I had spoken directly to them.
"Well- well, yeah I guess," Cameron awkwardly sputtered out and scratched at the back of his neck.
"She can't go yet you idiot, she might have a concussion or something, why didn't you call 911 when she passed out?" Jackson announced contradicting Cameron.
As Cameron started to mutter a response I cut him off.
"Look I'm fine I just want to go take a Tylenol my head is in a lot of pain, so goodbye."
I turned and strutted out of the horse barn, well more like waddled out, because everything was blurry and spinning around. I don't think I made it more than 10 feet before everything went black again.
The last thing I hear was Jackson saying, "Well, shit."
