3rd POV

Nick followed his dad down into to tunnel. Everyone followed and they made sure that they didn't get caught. "What is this place? " Cory questioned. No one answered. They were all shocked by what they have found. They went through a long path. It was made of dirt and stone to keep it stable. Torches lit the way. They are short so it looked a lot bigger than it probably was. They went in one at a time. Nick stopped and they all stood there. "Nick? " Tommy shook his shoulder. "What do you see? " Jon asked him. "I see it again. The red light. It is getting more visible as we get closer. "
"It feels week. " Jon added. "What does this mean? " Cory asked looking at Jon. Jon turned to face Cory as Cory focused his glare at Nick. Nick didn't turn around. He moved his head slightly. Uni started getting worried, "What... What if... She is dead? " He spoke in a low tone and looked to the ground. "She isn't dead. " They all turned to face Jon except Uni. "Not yet anyways. " Cory walked to Uni and reassured him that she would be alright. "What should we do guys? " Cory asked. "Nick should lead us. "
"Are you sure you want me to? " All went quiet. "Cause I still don't think you trust me yet Cory. " Nick turned his head to face Cory. He was in shock. "I can't say that I do. The way you act is... "
"It's crazy to you right? " Nick asked Cory who sighed and shrugged his shoulders. "Well that man is your dad so I guess I can get to trust you more. " Nick nodded back at him. "Well if it helps just know that I trust you fully... Cory. " Nick continued to walk and everyone picked up their pace, one after another. They reached the end of the long underground tunnel. It was a straight path but also a long one. It led to a big dark room. They walked in and heard people speaking. "What happened here? "
"She appears to have passed out. "
"You didn't do anything about it? "
"I was not given permission. I stayed here in case she was to die. "
"Well... "
"She is in an unstable condition. She is still ways away from recovering from her original incident. "
"Alright. I'll see to her injuries. Wait here till I get some help. " Next thing they knew the sound of someone walking got closer. The group began to panick but had to think of what to do. They found some bars that we're open to another smaller room. They ran inside and stayed quiet. "Who is that dimp weed. " Tommy asked quietly. They squinted their eyes. "It's just my dad. " Nick said. Once he left the got out of the room. They walked and checked everything that they saw. It was a room full of cages. "Let's go. " Cory said. Everyone made a silent dash for the end of the room. "Who's there? " Nick asked as he put his arm out to his sides so none of his friends could pass him. "Look. There. " They turned to Uni who was pointing to a light. They followed his finger and saw the light as well. How can't you see it. It's a bright light in the middle of the dark, vast room. "Hello? " Within seconds a robot appeared before them. He was nothing like they have seen. He was way taller than them. He was black and had blue glowing features. "Who might you all be? " He looked at them one by one. His glare came forward more and he met eyes with Nick. "You. Your his son aren't you. " Nick's back chilled and he stood up straight. "I knew it. So what you brings you five here to me? "
They all looked at each other and pushed Nick and Jon into the front. "We are here because I saw it. I saw the light. It's weak. I saw the fire. I saw a girl. " Then Jon added to what Nick said, "She is not okay. What happened? "
"She passed out. "
"Is she okay? " Nick and Uni asked almost at the same time. "Who knows. I do know that her breathing is slow. "
"We need to see her now. " Nick told the tall robot. "Your his son, so I don't have the right to stop you. Go ahead. " He walked up to the cage and put a key into it. He turned it and the door swung open. They all ran in. The robot stood at the door behind them. "I'll check her breathing. " Jon said. He bent down next to her. He put his hand on her chest and leaned down to listen. "Well Jon? "
"She is hardly breathing! "
"She is... Gonna... Die! " Uni screamed. He cried and Cory hugged him for comfort. Nick focused on her. He saw a red light surround her. It was dim and shrinking. "I have no chose. " Jon spoke up. His voice was slightly shaky. He placed his lips on hers and started to dispense air into her. He pushed lightly on her chest to get her blood pumping. "It's not gonna work. " Tommy hated to admit due to Uni but he was right. Then it hit them. Jon's spine got a shock making him jump a little. "Nick. You try. " They met eyes and Jon's flickered from their deep purple to the healing green. The robot turned to Nick. "Your just like your father. " Nick knew what he meant by that. Nick walked over to her body. Jon moved out of his way. "I know you can do it. "
"Thanks Jon. " Nick bent down and felt her pulse with her wrist. Then he leaves in and placed his lips on hers. He paced his breathing to match her pulse. He patted on her chest for her heart to kick in. He continued to do CPR. This time when he did the mouth to mouth she flinched a little. Her eyes winced. "Keep going she is almost up! " Jon got excited. Uni breathed heavily in hope that it would work. Tommy kept watch and stood still. The robot walked to her other side. Nick kept going. Then he felt her breathing start. His eyes got wide and he leaned off of her. She gasped and jumped forward. Nick made sure that she stayed on the ground till she was better. She coughed. "My throat... Hurts... "
"We need to get her water. " The robot exclaimed. Cory rushed out and looked around. He found a bucket with fresh water in it and Jon helped him carry it over. Nick and Tommy carried onto the bed in the corner. They came in and put the bucket by the bed. Jon cupped it in his hands and held it to her mouth for her to drink. Nick held her back to help her up so she could swallow the water. She took it slowly at first. Then she picked up her drinking. She leaned back once her throat didn't feel dry. Uni was crying tears of happiness. "She lived! She's alive! " He jumped around and hugged everyone. He even hugged the robot and attempted to hug the girl. She flinched and hugged him back. "Thank you. "
"Hey, wait a minute. "
"What Tommy? " Cory crossed his arms. "We never got mister glowing tin cans name. " We all looked at him. He scratched the back of his metal head. "Heh. I'm Dawn. "
"Nice meeting you Dawn. Thank you for helping us. "
"No problem. Nick. "
"How do you... "
"Like I said your his son and I know you guys all to well. "
"Well these are my friends. " He introduced them all and pointed to them as he told their names. "That's Tommy. "
"Sup brotha. "
"That's Cory. "
"Hey. "
"This is Jon. "
"Howdy. "
"And then he is Uni. "
"Hello... "
"Nice meeting you all. Well I know you all met Ashlie to. "
"Who? " Uni asked. "You mean her. " Jon turned to her and looked back at dawn. "Yep."
"Hi everyone. " She said with a weary smile. "Poor girl has been through hard times. "
"Do you mean she is the one from that fire? " Nick asked. "You bet. 10 points to dark hair over here. "
"It hurt her badly huh? " Jon could sense her pained and weak aura. "Ding Ding Ding. Your correct my green little man. "
"She wasn't the only one who went through it. " Nick added.
"Right again Nick. " They all turned to face her. She looked sad, scared and worried. She was quiet the entire time.

I got too much into this. I have a lot of time for writing this right now. I hurt my legs and they've been sore all week so I got around to writing like I promised. I can't promise to always have long chapters but I try to reach that 1,000 word mark. Anyway I hope you guys have a great rest of your week and day.

Dang my first day of high school is in 26 days. I don't know if I should be happy or nervous. XD.
