Ashlie's POV

I can't sleep. Not after all that has happened. I got out of the bed and left the house. I just want to be alone. I shouldn't be here... I looked up at the stars. They are all so bright. They stand out in the dark sky.

Nick's POV

I was about to sleep when I saw Ashlie getting out if bed in the corner of my eye. I'm too tired to think about it. I tried to ignore it but I'm worried. I got up and heard the front door open. "Ashlie...? " I rubbed my eyes. I made my way to the door and stayed there. Peeking outside I saw her standing by herself. Her red hair lightly moving with the air. She looked up to the sky. I opened the door and went up to her. Before I got close I stopped. I saw her head go back down. "Ashlie... " She turned to face me as I went to tap her shoulder. I pulled my hand back as she faced me. I looked at. She looks so scared. Like if you do something wrong she'll fall apart. My eyes are heavy with the want to go to bed. After a few seconds I saw a shine in the dark. Then I saw her shake a bit. She was crying. "I... Shouldn't be... Alive. " Her words came out one by one in her tears. They hit hard. I knew she wasn't okay. "Ashlie? " She put her hands into fists and held them to her eyes so I can't see her crying. She shook her head back and forth. Then she turned around. I stayed quiet. I don't know what to say. This girl before me is heart broken. She lost everything in the fire. She was sent out all alone. I grabbed her arm. "It will be okay... " I kept my grip on her arm. My own arm began to shake. She turned her head and saw me lower my head as I cried. "Huh. " I let go of her arm. I raised my head only to have her run into me. She cuddled with my chest and I returned the hug. We stood there for awhile. Both of us crying. She was still shaking. "We should go to bed. " I told her. She nodded her head and I let go of the hug. "Come on. " She yawned and held my arm with both of her hands as we went back inside. I closed the door while she walked into my room. I came in and she went onto the bed. I went over to my spot on the floor, before I could lay back down she spoke, "Nick... You can sleep in the bed if you want. "
"I'm fine on the floor with my blankets. " She got sad again. That's when I remembered that she might have slept with her parents or is too scared to be alone. "I will. " I grabbed my night stuff from the floor and put them on the bed. I climbed in and rested my head of the pillows. I faced the door and she faced the other way. I felt the bed move. Her arms wrapped around me and she rubbed her head on my back. She fell asleep and I did just a little after she did.

I woke up with Ashlie still fast asleep. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Dawn was shut down laying of the same chair. I tried to lightly shake her awake. After some time she finally woke up. She batted her eyes so the could adjust. "Is she awake? " I go to turn around and look up. Dawn was right behind me leaning over us. I nodded my head and sat up. "Good. She looks to be doing well. " He went over to Ashlie and helped her get up. "Did you sleep well? "
"Mhmm... " She yawned.

Dawn's POV

She seems to be doing well. I removed the blanket and lifted her up. She stared dead eyed into my. "You got some cuts on you. Your probably all scraped up too. " I gingerly set her on the floor. She is very light. She followed Nick out of the room. "You should get something to eat. I can't remember when he fed you. " We made our way into the kitchen. Nick climbed up on the counter. "What are you doing young man? "
"Getting breakfast. "
"Do you know how to cook? "
"No but I've seen my dad do it all the time. " Ashlie went wide eyed. "That's good enough for me cause I'm starving. " Oh man. These kids are something else. "Here get down. " I placed him on the ground. "And I'll cook. " They went running off without another word.

Nick's POV

"Hey Ashlie let's go play outside. "
"I don't know. Shouldn't we stay here with Dawn? "
"We'll be fine. We have our friends to hang out with. "
"Um... Okay! " She ran along with me. At one point she stumbled and fell to the ground. "Are you okay? "
"Yeah... I still hurt from before. " Before she got up she held her knee. "Is it broken? "
"What. No! It's fine! " She took my hand and stood back up. She was still wearing that night dress but it's light enough to have on during the day. She grabbed the rim of the dress and pulled it over her legs. "Come on. Are we going or not Nick? "
"Maybe we should wait til later. "
"Why? "
"Because... "
"Because why...? "
"Ashlie. I know you hurt your leg. So you shouldn't be going right now. "
"But... Nick... "
"No. We need to go back Ashlie. " I grabbed her wrist and helped her walk back to the house. Dawn finished breakfast. Ashlie struggled with eating it. "Umm... Dawn? "
"Yes Nick? "
"Can you see if Ashlie is hurt? "
"Sure. But why so soon? "
"She was having trouble walking and was holding her knee. "
"I guess the pain kicked in. " Dawn went over to Ashlie. "Alright I'm going to check for any injuries okay? "
"No! "
"Ashlie. Come on. You are still hurt from the fire and you need to be treated right now. " She crossed her arms and got slightly pouty. "Fine... "
Dawn lifted her up and brought her to the bathroom.

Ashlie's POV

"I want Nick. " I pouted while Dawn took me to the bathroom. "Why? "
"Because. "
"I'm not going to argue. If I bring Nick will you let me check your leg? " He asked as he sat me on a small stool. "Mhmm. " I nodded my head and Dawn left to grab Nick. Seconds later Nick came running in the room. "Are you alright! What happened I'm here to help. "
"Can you stay here while I get checked? "
"Sure. "
"Thank you. " I'm soo happy Nick is staying here for it. I feel more comfortable around him than with anyone else. He helped me a lot last night. Dawn came back in with a med kit. "Alright let's check your knee first. Can you lift your dress? " I did as he told he and lifted my dress off of my legs. "You bruised it. The pain kicked in cause you put pressure on it. " He reached into this box thing and pulled out a bottle and some cotton balls. "This will sting but it will take away the pain. " He opened the bottle and put the cotton dab on the opened end of the bottle. He took the cotton and leaned in. He pressed it on my knee. "Ow! It stings! " I kicked my legs back and forth. "I said it will hurt. You need to cooperate with me so we can fix it up. "
" Nick. Can I hold your hand? " He sat on the ground next to me and grabbed my hand. "Okay. I'm going to do it a few more times. " He dabbed it carefully on my knee and I squeezed his hand tightly. "See its done. I just need to get the bandages and it will be better. " I cried a little as a light sting kept on my knee. Dawn wrapped my leg with some of the bandage. "Your good. You just need to keep easy for a bit. Luckily your cuts are all minor so they can heal on their own. " He closed the case and walked back out of the bathroom. "See you'll be fine. " Nick let go of my hand and I gave him a big hug. "Thank you. Your my bestest friend ever. " After the hug he helped me back into the bed. "Lay down for awhile okay. "
"Okay. " He gave me a big smile. "Thanks again Nick. "
"No probably. Beside I am your best friend right? " I nodded and rested in the bed for the day. Nick went to hang out with the boys and Dawn stayed here with me.

Hey everyone. Sorry this one took awhile. I wrote some of it last night and got tired then WattPad was acting up and now I'm here. I've been too excited with the face that its FNaF's four year anniversary! Yes! It probably doesn't matter to you guys but just thought I'd put that out there for all its fans.
