Chapter 8: Revenge Part 2

*Kindia's P.O.V*

Knowing that my brother was alive & was okay, relieved me. When he got out the hospital, mama called everybody over to celebrate. I was soo happy that he was still here & not gone. I was just about finished making the chocolate cake when the doorbell rang. Mama was talking about she had a suprise for me, but she wouldn't tell me what is was. She told me I would find out sooner or later today. I opened the door & my mouth dropped. "Toni! Kiana! Omg! What are y'all doing here?" I said, smiling to ear to ear. I couldn't believe that they was here. Toni & Kiana went to New York because Toni was visiting the other side of her family & Kiana was sleeping over our cousin's house for a while.
*convo w/ Kiana & Toni*

Toni: "Hold up. Please tell me my eyes are playing tricks on me or are you pregnant?"

Me: "Yes Toni, I'm pregnant."

Kiana: "By who?"

Me: "I don't know."

Toni & Kiana: "How come you didn't tell us?"

Me: *laughing* Cause I barely wanted to tell anybody.

Toni: "Aw. Oh well. Is that food I smell? Sh*t, I'm hungry."

Kiana: "Me too. Move Kindi!"

They rushed in & started roaming the kitchen. "Stop roaming the kitchen & sit down." I said, grabbing them by their hands.

Me: "I know I haven't talk to y'all & let yall know what was going on, so it's some things you need to catch up on."

Toni: "Wassup Kindi?"

Kiana: "Yeah, Wassup?"

Me: "While you was gone to New York, It's been some things going on. I told  Key, Ja'Von & Dope Boy that I was pregnant. Key said he was gon' kill them & look for the people that rape me, but I told him not to do that. He didn't listen to me. He took me to the hotel because he said things were going to get crazy. A little while later, he got shot. We took him to the hospital & everything. I guess they made a mistake or something cause they said he died, but he came back to life. Dope Boy stayed with me the whole time. I guess you can say we together. He spent the night over here & everything. He still stayingg here."

Toni: *quiet for a sec* "First off, What tha f*ck & second, "Girl, are you forreal?"

Me: "Yes, Toni."

Kiana: "So basically, this food & stuff was part of a party that y'all threw for Key because he didn't die?"

Me: "Yeah, I guess you can say that."

Kiana: "I gotta' make a call. Hold on for a sec."

She went over & started making a call *Convo w/ unknown*

Kiana: "Hey Jasmine. Look, Im not going to be home in a few days.... I'm staying with my sister, It seems like we gotta' catch up on things."

Unknown:........

Kiana: "Okayy. Thanks. Bye."
*Convo ended*

Me: "What are you doing?"

Kiana: "It's something I got to tell you. I didn't know if I was just hearing stuff not, but it's really important."

Me: "Tell me everything, Kiana! Now!"

Toni: *walking around with both hands on her head* "Oh my Gosh."

Me:"Tell Me Kiana. Please."

Kiana:"Okay, Okay! It started when I was walking to my friend's house with Jasmine & her brother, Jerome. When we got there, my friend brother's friends was there. Jerome know every last one of them. So I was walking out to go ask Jerome did he have any money so we can go get something to eat at McD's, but as I walking up, one of his friends was talking. He was saying that the other day, him & his niggas came down here. He said one nigga was tryna' get payback. That's when he said him & his folks started shooting at him & He ran into a tree."

Me: "Is you serious?!"

Key: "Is what serious? && Wassup Toni, Kiana when you get here?"  He said, walking in with Dope Boy & Ja'Von.

Me: "Mane, Forget all about that. Kiana just told me some stuff that you need to hear."

Key: "Wassup ? && Hurry up cause im gettin hungryy."

Me: "Kiana just told me that one of Jerome's friend was the one that was shooting at y'all before y'all crashed into a tree."

Ja'Von: "What ! That pussy nigga don't want war. When this sh*t happen?"

Kiana: "This happen not too long ago. Right after I left."

Key: "Hell naw ! Ian going down like that again. That nigga caught me offguard, but that sh*t aint going down like that no more. He lucky I wasn't paying attention."

Ja'Von: " Mane, Kiana why you didn't tell us?!"

Me: "Nigga she just got here not too long ago! How was she suppose to know?"

Key: "Well. Aye, Check this out. We might go up there to New York to see whats going down, but meanwhile, Y'all need to stay here."

Me: "Oh hell no . You know damn well I'an staying down here so you can get shot again. Then what? After you get shot this time, you gon' die. You are not a cat, you don't get 9 lives."

Key: "Fine, mane. But if you get shot & killed or anything, you know I won't forgive myself. I might kill my own self & you know mama ain't gonna let me get into some more sh*t."

Ja'von: "We'll just tell her that we going to New York to visit & if she wanna tag along, we'll bring her & let her spend a night at the hotel."

Key: " Well Alright. If my mama die, i'm killing you nigga! Anyways, We finna head out to the trap to tell the niggas wassup. We'll be back"

Before they headed out the door, Dope Boy looked back at me. I just shook my head & went back to the kitchen.
