Shadow left the room and place a note on the door for Gabriel, when he gets back. The note told him that he could use Shadow's room for the night and also inform Gabriel that Shadow will be out for the night.

Again, Shadow could not sleep soundly. Shadow nightmares were still tormenting him and he didn't feel safe. He has been having these nightmares for years and he was exhausted from them. He couldn't remember the last time he slept peacefully through the night.

Shadow followed the dark corners all the way to garden area. It was pretty close to were Gabriel was probably enjoying himself well.

Shadow chuckled to himself. "Maybe I should get laid..." But he knew he wouldn't have that type of relations with anyone. He never felt the urge to want sex in any form. With life the way it is, why would anybody need it? Shadow just didn't understand why so many people find it desirable.

Taking his mind off the subject Shadow sat underneath his favorite oak tree. He always came here to relax his mind. It was something about the forest that eased his mind to a degree. Trying to relax, he laid down and look to the ceiling. "Maybe one day..."

Casper went over Gabriel's lab reports that Shadow sent in. The DNA enhancement went by well. "But still..." Cas said looking over his desk to one if his officers. "I can't bring myself to let Shadow go on this mission alone with a newbie at his side. This task is way to valuable. That's why I'm asking you to head out tonight, Casey Godwin." The Irish nodded in understanding. " I see your point sir, but do you honestly expect me to do this alone?" "No, I expect you to meet up with Kimbler's group tonight and lead them in to recapture the Zodiacs."

"I understand, sir. I'll leave right away." Casey exited the office leaving Casper alone.

Casper pick up an old coin that his father had giving him before he died. Holding it tight and close to his heart, he spoked, " Maybe one day..."
