Chapter 1
(Mae's POV)
It has been a week since I have graduated, as I got chosen the "Most Likely To Be Famous" award I kept motivating myself to actually achieve that dream.
I immediately called my 2 amazing friends, Britney and Lucilla we went three way on the phone.
"H-Hello?" said someone suspiciosly, I knew it was Lucilla.
"HOOLLA!" yelled Britney on the other line, I giggled with a smile on my face.
"Hi girls, it's me Mae. I miss talking to you guys!" it had only been like a week and I missed them already.
"I was wondering if we can go and hang out, maybe go somewhere to eat?" I asked, wanting them to say yes.
Immediately after 10 seconds I heard 2 voices shout "YEEEEES!"
I felt like I had an infection... a One Direction infection. ;) Their shouting made my ear hurt but I still loved them.
It was 4 in the afternoon so I figured the girls and I could hang out today.
"So, how about at 8? You guys can come over before that then we could leave earlier."
After about a minute Britany said "Sure, that sounds good, i'll text you if I come earlier, bye! xoxo" then she hung up.
Lucilla responded back "That sounds amazing, I was wondering if you'd like to go shopping today, you know find a dress for tonight?"
I jumped up and down "Of course! Meet you at the mall in 30?" Lucilla agreed with my decision.
We then hung up the phone. I took a quick shower and put my hair in a sock bun. I wore a pair of grey jeans with a light pink coloured blouse. I matched the whole outfit with my favourite black high heel boots.
Even though it was spring-summer season it didn't mean I have to wear flip-flops and sandals all the time.
I kept the makeup simple and natural, by then it was time to go. I met up with Lucilla in the food court. First stop to Forever 21, it was my absolute favourite store in the entire world.
By the end of the shopping trip I bought a high-low dress with a one shoulder on my right. It was from Forever 21 (of course) it was a beautiful dress, it was a blue gradient style. I matched the dress with a silver belt that complimented the shape of my hips.
I didn't go to far with the jewelry and bought myself some silver bangles to accent the belt and nice diamond studs in the shape of a heart.
Lucilla had bought herself a fitted black dress from Dynamite, it was slightly below her knees. It had beautiful sequins at the top and a cute sweetheart neckline.
For the accessories Lucilla bought a gold clutch that looked beautiful with the dress, good-sized hoop earrings (not to big, not to small) and new pumps that were in the colour black with gold spikes.
I got home and changed into the dress I had bought with Lucilla, it looked gorgeous on me, I finished my look with black wedges that had bows on them and a smokey eye look, I didn't really feel like curling my hair so I straightened it.
At around 7:30 I heard the bell ring. It must have been the girls.
"Hello girls!" I invited them to come inside and gave them big hugs. I complimented them on their dress and everything and then vice-versa.
Since I was the hostess of our 'hang out' I drove. I made reservations at this fancy restaurant I passed by when going to the mall with Lucilla.
While we were getting seated the waitress asked for our drinks "All three of us would like ice tea, thank you." the girls rolled their eyes at me. I knew my girls too well, probably because we've been friends since fourth grade.
While waiting for our food to arrive I made a conversation with the girls.
"I was wondering... well.... uhmm.. since were all of age and were out of high school... I waswondering if we could move out of town and live in the big city..." I mumbled the last part.
(Lucilla's POV)
I was shocked by Mae's question, but that didn't stop me from asking questions.
"When?"
"Where?"
"Why?"
"How are we going to move?"
"What about our families?"
Right then I saw the girls giggle at me. I was the most curious one out of the group.
I bit my lip waiting for an answer.
"I agree with Luci, how are going to move without having our family around?" Britney was always on my side, but I hated when she called me Luci, after sixth grade I learned to accept it.
"We can tell them we were meant to be in the city! I have already been searching up apartments and there are some amazing ones." said Mae confidently.
I was kind of amazed on how fast she was dealing with this, but of course I knew there were amazing apartments because we lived in L.A. how couldn't there be?
I finally had the courage to tell Mae how I felt "Mae.... I think this is a great idea, but.." trying to act all sad. "but... I don't have enough luggage space for all my stuff!"
The girls burst out laughing and soon enough so did I. Britney said that her parents would be okay with her moving as long as she video chats with them once a week.
It was official we were moving into the big city! I was so excited, and by the looks of Britney and Mae I knew they were too.
(Britney's POV)
I never knew how good this felt to move with my bestfriends and live my dream!
I was chosen "Biggest Diva" award when I graduated. I laughed at the thought of it, the girls just gave me a 'i-dont-even-want-to-know' look.
I have always wanted to be an actress, and moving to L.A. when I was 8 was a great start for me.
*****
I know, I know... this chapter was a little boring, but then again this is just the first chapter. All the drama will come soon enough. Just keep on reading! Cause I have more crazy ideas.
Love ya
