Chapter 3 - First Date

Chapter 3

(Mae's POV)

Buzz.....

Buzz.....

I felt my phone vibrate beside me. "H-H-Hello?" I answered the phone but I was still so very tired.

"Hey, sleeping beauty. Wake up. I have a surprise for you." Me and Harry have been really close this weekend, and we sort of confessed that we had feelings for each other. 

"Hi, Harry" I mumbled, while rolling my eyes.

"Get dressed, I will be at your house in an hour."

"Ok, fine. See you then. Bye!"

I struggled to get out of bed, I didn't want to leave my big, pink, comfy bed! I rolled flat down on the floor, making a huge 'thump' noise.

I stared at my clock and saw it as 1pm. I have never woke up this late, ever!

I took a shower while singing to Skyscraper by Demi Lovato, she was my inspiration and the one who kept me going with all her songs.

While rolling my hair in my towel to dry, I got dressed. I took 3 different outfits out of my closet.

The first one was a simple flowy white lace dress, it was slightly below my knees. I had paired it with brown boots, an owl necklace and a jean vest.

The second outfit was a big knitted crop top in the colour beige, which I had paired with leggings and a pair of leopard print flats.

The third outfit had a black tank top with a matching white cardigan, and dark wash skinny jeans. I had paired this outfit with my red TOMS and a simple cross necklace.

I lay out the 3 outfits on my bed. "GIIIRLS!" I called out, so they can come to my bedroom.

"Yes?" said the girls in unison. "I need help figuring out which outfit to wear, Harry's coming to get me in an hour." 

"Awwwwuuuh, is our bwestfwend going on a date??" Britney asked in her baby tone. 

"No, we are just going out to eat as FRIENDS." I said seriously, because I knew that me and Harry were just friends. "Now, help me figure out which outfit to wear." trying to change the subject.

"FIRST OUTFIT!" Lucilla called out. "Definitely the dress." Britney tagged along with Lucilla's decision. 

"Thanks, girls for helping. Now you can go on with your life!" Shooing them out of my room like a weirdo.

I put my hair in a side braid and barely put any makeup on. I went to the kitchen for a quick snack, because who knows where Harry's taking me. 

I went to the living room to ask my friends approval on the outfit. "You look beautiful Mae, as always." I was touched with what Lucilla said to me.

"Totally would look better on me!" Britney added. I gave her a death glare. "Just kidding, but seriously anything would look good on me!" We ended up crying with laughter.

Our giggle fits were over when the doorbell rang, must've been Harry. I waved goodbye to the girls and led my way to the door.

I took a deep breath before opening the door. There he was alongside his beautiful curly brown hair. He had a plain white v-neck on and some black skinny jeans. He looked hot, even without trying.

"H-Hi Harry." I stuttered to say something.

Hi, love. May I say you look wonderful today?" at this point I didn't care if he called me love or anything, he was just too cute. I giggled and slipped my arm threw his.
