(a/n: I want to apologize for the blah chapters. I'm having a bit of writer's block, but these boring chapters will lead to something better.)

Galena stopped in her tracks when she entered the dining hall. Daenerys was the only one in the room, and it caught her off guard. It was a very rare occurence to not see Missandei at her side, but she soon realized that the queen wanted to be alone with her.
“Lena, I am so sorry!” she said as she stood.
Galena should have been embarrassed. She should have been ashamed. The queen should have never seen her in that state, but she was neither embarrassed nor ashamed.
“Your Grace, you have nothing to apologize for.” She smiled at her. “I'm sorry you had to see that, though.” But she wasn't. She did not regret being walked in on one bit, because she was with Tyrion. She felt like she was walking on air, and nothing could bring her down from the high.
“As awkward as it was,” Daenerys admitted as she took her seat at the table, “I'm glad that the two of you were able to find the time to…” she took her seat, and looked up, searching Galena’s eyes for the right word. “Be alone.”
Galena giggled. “Me, too. But I am sorry that you got an eyeful of, well...me.” She sat beside the queen and poured herself a glass of water.
Daenerys unexpectedly and excitedly took Galena’s free hand in hers. “Do you love him?”
Galena looked at the queen, unsure of how to react to this sudden line of questioning. She couldn't help herself, though. She wanted everyone to know. “Very much so.”
Daenerys smiled brightly. “I knew it! I wanted to say something yesterday, but I stopped myself.”
She laughed to herself. Why was Daenerys so interested in her love life? She had to remember, that unlike herself, Daenerys never really had the chance to gossip with girls when she was growing up. The queen had proven to be a loyal friend by keeping her secret, so if talking about Tyrion was something that gave her a lull in her busy life, Galena was willing to let her talk her heart out. If all she ever did was talk about wars and ruling, she would want a break, too.
“Tyrion spoke to me about it three days ago,” the queen admitted.
She looked Daenerys in the eyes. “He talks about me?” She couldn't say why, but the idea of Tyrion secretly talking about her took her by surprise. Of course she knew he had feelings for her, but she assumed he would have kept it to himself. Not because he was ashamed of it, but because he wasn't sure who he could trust with something so serious.
“Yes, he--"
“Good morning!” Tyrion said exuberantly as he entered the room.
His walk was jubilant, and Galena took pride in knowing that she was the reason for it. He smiled at her, but when he saw Daenerys, he quickly averted his eyes.
“Daenerys,” he said as he cleared his throat. “Hello.”
She smirked. “Having a good day, Lord Tyrion?”
“I am!” he declared. “It would be even better if there was some sausage.” He sat beside Galena, not caring that he wasn't in his usual seat as far away from her as possible, and kissed her forehead. "Unless, of course, Lena has already had it.”
Galena rolled her eyes at his crude joke.
“Unfortunately,” Daenerys answered, not skipping a beat, “she is the only one.”
