I was pretty happy this morning. I finally got a perfect hair day in my life, which I'm quite proud of. Add the fact that Soma got into the Polar Star dorm, and I might as well be a happy pikachu.
I skipped over to my closet and pulled out a red t-shirt and white jeans. I made sure to grab my apron on the way to the dinning room, since I had class today. It was only one, though. So I had the rest of the day to goof off and sleep.
I walked over to my motorcycle and got her revved up. Pulling on my helmet, I sped off towards Building A. If I remember correctly, my class was about meats and all that stuff. It's sounded pretty fun, so I went for it. It was the best choice ever.
I stopped in front of the grey-blue building and locked my motorcycle up. After double checking the lock, I started off towards the entrance.
I walked down the semi-crowded hallways, my eyes scanning the classroom labels for 1-A. After climbing three flights of stairs, I reached the classroom and walked in.
Students were hanging around happily, laughing at jokes and stuff. One of them was waving their arms around wildly, clearly frustrated that his friends didn't understand what he was trying to say. It was amusing.
I sat down in the back row, not interested in the conversations anymore. Sighing, I took out my book about magical stuff and continued to read.
The boy was under his invisibility cloak, about to jump out and confront the bad guy who had no nose in the movie. Right when he jumped out, a bunch of girls squealed. I snapped my attention to the door, where Eishi and Rindo were walking in. They noticed me and walked over.
"Hey there, Asuka-senpai," said Rindo, her cat-like grin present on her face. Eishi nodded respectfully.
"Sup, Rindo. May I ask why you two are being really respectful to me?"
"It would seem rude to call you Aka when half the class is listening to our conversation," said Eishi. The girls who were creeping up on him ever so slowly trudged away in disappointment .
I laughed. "Since when did that stop you?" I asked. Rindo looked up and put her finger on her lip, thinking about what I just said.
She put on a big grin and laughed as well. "Since never, Aka." She slung her arm around Eishi as she laughed at her stupidity. The silver haired boy sighed and dragged her to a seat next to me.
"Come on, Rindo. Get it together before the teacher comes."
The red head nodded and took a deep breath, calming herself down. "Yeah, okay. Sit down, Eishi!" She grabbed his arm and patted the seat next to her. He sighed once again and sat down obediently.
"Alright, class. Get to your seats now. We have notes to take and dishes to make!" Ms. Briar walked down the aisle as students scrambled to their seats.
Ms. Briar had a dark complexion and golden eyes. Her black frizzy hair was always tied up in a ponytail, giving it an extra poof. She always has a healthy glow to her, her eyes shining like stars.
"Hello, Briar-sensei," said a girl with dark blue hair braided in a single plait. Her bangs were pushed to the side by white clip with a red star on it.
"Tadoroko! I told you not to call me that," whined Ms. Briar , "It sounds weird."
" Weird in a good way, " laughed the girl. Ms. Briar sighed and started class. We were making "Fillet Mignon" accompanied by a rich balsamic glaze. Sounds fun enough.
We started taking notes on the dish. Ingredients, how to, if you somehow mess it up, and how you know it's ready. After filling ten pages because Ms. Briar is an overthinker, we walked to the kitchen. We quickly found partners, I being partnered up with Miyuki Tadoroko.
