Kimiko's POV:
We had been walking for a few hours now, the never ending forest continued to stretch out in front of us. I sighed, thinking about where we were actually going.
"So, papa" I spoke up.
"Hmm" was his reply.
"Where are we actually going?"
"Ah! I forgot to mention. We are going to find some poeple called the Akatsuki. They are a... Special organisation and I was going to see if they were going to help me with something important" he replied.
"Ah, I see. Um, an experiment?"
"Yes! With an experiment" he smiled.
I wonder who the test will be on?
"How long will the walk be?" I yawned.
"A couple days, at max" he replied.
"A couple days? Where exactly is it?"
"Amegakure" a one word reply.
The Village Hidden in the Rain? Why would they be placed there?
"Interesting" I say.
"It is, isn't it?!" he said, excitedly.
I gave him an awkward nod.
"Y-Yeah" I forced a smile.
My legs were beginning to get sore. I'm not sure how much longer I'd be able to walk on. I decided to summon a snake to aid me in walking. I bit my finger, drawing blood.
"Summoning Jutsu!" I say, placing my hand on the ground, and drawing a line, causing a large puff of smoke to invade my eyesight.
"I've been summoned?" Doku hissed.
I was already atop his head. Doku was my biggest snake. His scales were lined in different shades of purple, with his belly being a nice creamy pearl color. His eyes were a deep shade of green, almost like an evergreen trees leaves.
"Yes, sorry Doku. I need to rest, you wouldn't mind continuing on for me, would you?" I asked.
"Not at all. You rest for now" he said, slithering next to father.
My mark started to act up, causing me to feel sleepy, and to feel a bit of pain.
"Doku... Forgive me, but I'm going to sleep" I yawned.
"Go right ahead, young one" he encouraged.
"Thank you. See you both when I wake up" I mumbled, laying on his head and falling asleep.
Orochimaru's POV:
I didn't expect her to summon a snake, especially it being Doku, in her state. That must be why she's fallen asleep.
"Was giving her a curse mark necessry?" Doku spoke up.
"For her sickness, yes" I snapped.
"You gave one to her mother too, didn't you?" he bounced back.
My heart sank.
"I did... Yes" Was my whispered reply.
"Why?"
"Why? What could you possibly mean?"
"Why would you give them both such a thing?"
I paused, not hesitating with my walk.
"I don't know" I cursed.
He gave a long sigh.
"I think you should leave Kimiko alone for a while" He suddenly said.
"What?!" I bellowed, causing her to stir.
"You've caused her some shock, human" was his reply.
"Shock or no shock, I'm not leaving her"
Doku just gave a long sigh.
"I'll let you figure this one out by yourself" was all he said.
"What do you mean? Doku!"
"Papa, please! Let me rest" Kimiko's angered voice sprouted from above.
"Right... Right... Rest Kimiko"
She was asleep almost instantly. I sighed. Maybe I should start having some time to think about what I've caused.
