Kimiko's POV:
I lulled over my thoughts. I was just so bored of sitting in my room. When could I--
"Surprise!!" My door was banged open and four figures came in.
"You're back!" I smiled, as I was hugged by the sound four.
"Sorry we were gone so long, Kimi-chan" Kidomaru apologized.
"It's okay! Have you met Kimimaro? He's been looking after me"
They all paused and turned to Kimiaro sitting in the chair. He waved.
"We have. How've you been? Better?" Kidomaru asked.
"I wish" He sighed.
"It'll be alright" Jirobo helped reassure him.
"I hope so. I really do," Kimimaro replied "It's her rest time, everyone. Let's go"
"Alright. Rest well" Tayuya smiled.
"I'll try" I murmured as they left.
I laid down and closed my eyes, sleep overtaking me instantly.
Kimimaro's POV:
"Has she been alright?" Tayuya asked as we walked to their main room.
"Yes. I've made sure to look after her" I replied.
"Thank you" she smiles at the floor.
I can't help but look at her, then quickly look away as we enter the room. I gulped.
"Come join us for a little" Kidomaru smiles.
"Uh, sure" I comply, and sit with them.
We all began to talk, and I updated them on Kimiko's position.
Kimiko's POV:
I had woken back up, unable to let sleep overtake me.
"I don't want to disturb her if she's still asleep..." Kabuto suddenly speaks up from outside my door.
He's been there for the past few minuets.
"Okay I'm going in," Kabuto says, placing a hand to the door knob "No! I changed my mind! I don't know if she's still asleep!"
Is he serious?
"Just come in the damned room!" I yelled, causing him to swing the door open and shut as he stepped in.
"Sorry, Kimiko" he apologized.
I sighed.
"What is it?" I asked, aggravated.
"I just wanted to check on you" he said.
"Well, I'm okay?"
"I can see that"
There was an awkward silence.
"Maybe you should try to rest?" He spoke up "I'll stay here until you sleep"
I looked at him, surprised.
"Yeah. Yeah, that sounds good" I comply.
He smiles and sits on the chair. I lay in bed and he strokes my hair.
"Rest well, Kimiko" he mumbles, as I fall asleep.
