kenzie and joey were acting all lovey dovey during lunch and everyone in our group was staring.

"um, are you both gonna eat or just flirt all day?" annie scrunches her eyebrows.

"it's whatever." kenzie smiles and leans her head onto joey's shoulders.

lauren and i look at each other and hayden gives us the reassuring look.

hayden and carson may have a funny joke personality but they both have a soft side and are there for their friends.

"well i'm done here." brynn gets up and walks away with her tray.

"sorry kenzie but class is calling." ruby says awkwardly, also getting up.

"but class isn't starting for another 15 minutes, ruby." kenzie utters.

"i-i uh- i have a project i need to finish before class begins." ruby rushes out claiming.

"okay...?" joey replies.

just then everyone starts getting up with excuses and walks away, lauren and i look at each other and i said, "well this is awkward but i gotta go."

"yeah- same i'll talk to you later" lauren says while we're getting up.

i watched as they all got up and walked away. even johnny walked away. i felt hurt.

"joey i know they're not going to class, come with me," i say.

i walked up to the girls and see them standing at their lockers.

"oh- hey kenzie." annie softly smiles.

"aren't you guys supposedly going to class?" i asked.

"yeah but the classroom was locked." brynn says.

i walked over to the door and it was unlocked.

"what's going on?" i question.

"nothing. what are you saying kenzie?" lauren asks.

"you all clearly don't support joey and i's relationship! you're all acting like this is all about you but guess what, it isn't. if i'm dating joey," i say, then take a breath, "then i'm dating joey. just stop trying to make it all about you just because you ship jenzie!"

"kenzie-" annie says but i cut her off.

"for like the a thousandth time, johnny and i are bestfriends! just stop." i yell.

"kenzie this is school please stop yelling." annie finishes.

"stop yelling?! who do you think i am? if you girls were my bestfriends you would support me and be happy for me." i say.

"wow kenzie. is that all you think? that we're not happy for you?" lauren says while tears start streaming her eyes.

"this isn't about us shipping jenzie, kenzie. there's more to it. if you would've bothered to listen to us you would've understood what was going on!" ruby exclaims.

"understand what? i can't believe you all. you're blaming me all for dating joey? i like him. he likes me. deal with it. i do not care about your opinions on our relationship. why can't you all just support us?" i continued yelling, almost everyone in the hallway was staring.

"ugh," annie mutters under her breath.

"what?" i ask.

"would you stop yelling? you're making it sound like it's our fault! you're making it sound like we don't give a damn about you, kenzie." annie snaps.

"what is going on- lauren!" johnny asks while running up and hugging her.

all the guys begin hugging the girls and comforting them.

"kenzie, what is going on?" ashton asks.

"joey you stood there the whole time and didn't say anything?" hayden adds on.

"what did you expect me to do? they were yelling and crying." joey says.

"stop acting like that." carson says.

"you know what, if you all don't support joey and i's relationship, you're not our friends." kenzie says while grabbing joey's hand and walking away.

"lauren, what in the world is going on?" johnny asks.

"kenzie thinks we don't support her and joey just because we ship jenzie." lauren replies.

"then she started yelling at us and saying how it isn't all about us." ruby continues.

"we told her how she's taking it all out on us and there's more to why we seem to not support it." brynn says.

"i can't believe her." johnny mumbles.

"a lot seemed to happen in those five minutes," hayden says.

"well there's nothing we can do about it, she yelled at us. in front of the whole school." annie replies.

"she thinks everything is about jenzie." johnny shrugs, "this is ridiculous and i can't believe she would blame it on us."

so the group is basically mad at kenzie and of course kenzie is mad at them. but she's probably not at johnny since she never is.
