johnny has been coming to visit me every weekend. the group, well, wasn't too great.
everything was falling apart. the group barley ever hung out and it was because they knew i was upset. nadia moved back to canada because there was another family emergency.

i was happy, but they weren't. i never gave them the chance of forgiveness. i was still unhappy about the situation, even if it was two months ago. lauren, on the other hand, i forgave her and she's been texting me.

occasionally lauren would come visit me with johnny. i think it's time i forgave the group. although i'm still hurt of course.

johnny and i have been closer than ever. what you all missed out on, was an intense moment that happened a few weeks back.

*flashback*

"johnny stop!" i yell laughing, "put me down!"

"no." he chuckles and carries me around over his shoulders, "i'm throwing you in the pool."

"i swear- if you throw me in that pool you're getting a slap." i say.

"fine." he carries me back to my room and puts me down.

we stare at each other for a few minutes but something urged him.

he kissed me, and i kissed back.

johnny pulls away, "kenzie."

i look up, "what's going on, johnny?

"i've been waiting for the right time to tell you this."

i furrow my eyebrows confusingly.

"i like you." he firmly says.

"i like you too." i smile.

yet again, he kisses me.

*end of flashback*

now yesterday, he took me to a fancy diner.

i've been endlessly happy the last couple of weeks, and i couldn't have been more because of his question.

"would you, mackenzie ziegler, be my girlfriend?" he asks.

there was a long pause of me smiling.

"yes, johnny."

he picks me up and spins around happily.
