Damiens POV
Y/N and I were sitting on the couch, drinking warm cups of Hot Chocolate while we were cuddled up and watching a movie.
The crackling of the fireplace was soothing to hear whole the TVs audio was quiet but also loud enough to hear over the silence, and cuddling up to my princess made the whole thing so much better.
"Dames?" The sweet sound of her voice shook me out of my little day dream "Yeah princess?" She smiled at me "Have you been thinking about.. well...the future?" I nodded.
I have been thinking about proposing to her. But I was going to wait until it snowed here, as it was forecast, and propose in the snow, as its Christmas time and I had thought it would be a romantic way. I had thought about that day for who knows how long. And picturing it made me smile.
"Yes I have. Why do you ask?" I pause the movie so my full attention is on the one person I truly love. "No reason. Just, it's nearly Christmas and that just reminds me that I don't have a child of my own. Because Christmas is mainly for children." She smiles as I nod.
"Well, do you want a child?" I ask and her eyes light up "Yes. But maybe not yet. Are we ready for that?" "Are you?" She nods, her hair falling out of place "I am as well. If you want one tell me when" I smile and kiss her forehead "Okay Dames" she giggles and snuggles up to me.
"Damien?"
"Yeah?"
"Can we?"
"Yep"
She turns off the TV and we go to the bedroom.
