Another hour or two went buy, and Hans still hadn't stopped thinking about how the queen's hand had laid so gracefully on his cheek. He had come up with a plan, but it would only be a test to see what the queen would do. When he heard her footsteps, he pulled the cover tighter around him and shut his eyes. "Again?' she groaned. She sat down beside him. "Hardly looks like a traitor when he sleeps," she muttered to herself. She gently shook him awake, unaware that he hadn't been sleeping to begin with. He sat up and fake yawned. She handed him his lunch tray, and began eating with out a second of hesitation. After he finished, to his surprise Elsa didn't leave. "Can I trust you with a secret Hans?" She asked him. "Why would you tell ME your secret?" He asked curiously as a sly little smile formed on his face. "Because I can't tell Anna. She will flip." She responded irritated."Fair enough."he shrugged. "Well, the council said I have to marry soon, but I don't want to! I can't marry a man I just met, and I can't run away again. What would you suggest I do?" She said to him worried. Hans thought about this for a moment. What could she do to avoid such? "Let the council know you don't wish to marry any time soon. Get a little tough with them, they'll listen. I would at least. You are the only who has the power-not the council." After some contemplation. "I do suppose that is a possibility, but being tough isn't really in my nature." She said innocently. "Really? Because it doesn't seem that way Elsa. We all know that when you have to you lay down the law." He said trying not to laugh. Elsa smiled a little. Maybe he knew her more than she thought. She placed a hand on his shoulder. "Thank you Hans." She said to him. He blushed bright red and turned his head to hide it. Elsa clearly didn't notice it because she continued towards the door. Than came the slam, the click, and light thuds- and after that silence. Hans felt like the silence was slowly killing him. He needed some some sort of noise to keep him from going insane. He thought of a song his mother would always sing. She had always said it was about a trapped Snowqueen, alone and lost.
He began;
White lips, pale face, breathin' in snowflakes- burnt lungs sour taste.
Light's gone, day's end
Struggling to pay rent
Long nights, strange men

And they say
She's in the Class A Team
Stuck in her daydream
Been this way since eighteen
But lately her face seems
Slowly sinking, wasting
Crumbling like pastries
And they scream
The worst things in life come free to us
Cause we're just under the upper hand
And go mad for a couple grams
And she don't want to go outside tonight
And in a pipe she flies to the Motherland
And sells love to another man
It's too cold outside
For angels to fly
Angels to fly

He finished, a little teary eyed. He missed his mother so much. Elsa had heard his singing from upstairs. She knew that song. She assumed it was one of the prisoners and went down to shut them up. But then she heard what song it was. She stopped in front of Hans cell as he finished singing. She watched him, small tears falling from his eyes. She repeated part of the song she knew, "An angel will die covered in white closed eyed
And hoping for a better life." She sang softly in front of his cell. He wiped his tears, and turned around to see Elsa, her eyes shimmering to matching perfectly the gray day outside. Her hair was swept in a French braid, delicate flurries laying gracefully in her hair. Her icy stare had softened, her hands limp against her sides. "My mother used to sing me that song." She said to him. She didn't give him a chance to respond and left.

Crappy chapter, I know, an I'm sorry.
