Flashback: A Matt Espinosa Fanfic

I woke up from my nap, my parents weren’t home and my head hurt. I got up to go for a walk, sometimes walks help wIth my headaches. Matt couldn’t hang out because he had something right after school that was really important. I put on my sweat pants and a baggy shirt that I never wore, put my hair up, put shoes on, grabbed my headphones and my phone to listen to music and walked out the door. I felt the fresh air hit my skin, It was a beautiful day. I was walking around just having thoughts to myself. I push the button at cross across the crosswalk and as I was crossing I felt something hit me and I fell to the ground and everything went black.

*FLASHBACK TO 6 MONTHS AGO*

“SUMMER! SUMMER! WAKE UP WAKE UP WE HAVE TO GET READY!” My friend Megan woke me up screamed into my ear jumping on my bed. I checked my phone and it said 1:30 (pm). Me and Megan, my best friend had a sleepover because today was the day I got to meet my idols! Oh I forgot to introduce myself, I’m Summer. Summer Weiss, I’m 16 and I have bleach blonde hair and crystal blue eyes, people consider me “famous” even though im just well known on vine but thats it. I got up put a white crop top and a floral skirt and curled my hair. Megan took freaking forever to get ready and finally she was ready and I said my goodbyes to my mom, took my car keys, put my suitcase and Megans in the car and got in with Megan to drive to the airport because the event was in California, and Megan and I are gonna be there for a month, with Megans aunt. The flight took off late which ended up making us 1 hour and a half late when we got there! Thankfully we found the VIP line which was outside and there were still girls in line so it wasn’t over but we were definitely last! All the girls started to notice who i was and started to talk and take photos of me. You would think this is my meet and greet from the look of all this. Soon all the girls started to get back into their spots and we just waited in line like normal.

“Summer how aren’t you hungry you skipped breakfast and haven’t eaten anything all day! There is a subway literally 500 feet away come get food with me!” Megan yelled at me.

“No. No. No. I am not leaving this spot I can survive this time without food.” I bombed and Megan rolled her eyes in response and walked away to get food by herself. She brought me food back which I was so thankful for because I was starving. After about an hour the line moved up so we could go in there. I had enough money to pay for VIP but sadly Megan didn’t which she was devastated about. The tickets looked exactly the same and had two code scanners for someone to scan them. Once it was our turn to get scanned and go inside I turn around and say quietly “Megan you can’t go in this part.” I get mine scanned and they let me in. Seconds later I see Megan walk inside..

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE HOW DID YOU GET IN!?” I say.

“SHHH! SHUT UP! They scanned the wrong scanner section on mine I guess!” she says giggling. I roll my eyes , shook my head and smiled. The line goes up these stairs and I think to where you meet the boys. Finally we were on the stairs and I look past a couple of the girls and see them. They were glowing, we are actually in the same room as them! I smack Megan and show her and we are both in shock speechless. After what felt like hour I was almost at the front of the line. and at that moment I was accepting I'm actually meeting them, that thI was real life, not a dream. I started bawling and it was my turn, and the man motions me to them. The order went, Carter, Taylor, Shawn, then the Jacks, Aaron who gave THE BEST hugs. After him I went to Cam gave him a tight hug and he lift my feet off the ground. Lastly I went to Matt and nash my two favorites. I run and jump on nash first which startles him but hugs me back, rubbing my back. The last person was Matt, my forever favorite. I run and hug him tight and he hugs me back tighter, for the pictures with all the boys Matt is still clinged to me with his head rested upon mine swaying back and forth. I wanted this moment last forever but sadly it came to an end. We leave take our seats watch the show which came to an end we walk outside to my car which isn’t there. Megans aunt was 15 minutes late and Megan couldn’t get a hold of her.

I see Megans facial expression drop and I ask whats wrong.

“My aunt said she had a huge medical emergency for a close friend and now has to take care of her at their house which is in florida! We can afford a hotel summer what are we gonna do!?” She screams hyperventilating.

“Calm down I’ll do my magic and get us somewhere to stay.”

We walk back into the building and see matt,

“MATT!” Slips out of my mouth and he turns around and we lock eyes. He smiles and waves and walks towards us.

“Hey guys!” Matt says calmly. Megan explains the situation to him.

“Well we rented a house for the summer if you guys wanna stay with us, you guys seem like nice girls right? Won’t watch us sleep or kill us or anything?” He says chuckling
