'Finally, we're leaving that dump... I will kinda miss it though.' The 18 year old stared out the window watching the trees and cars pass by like how he always did. But this time it was different. His messy ebony hair was blowing like crazy in the wind. His icy blue eyes glaring holes into everything they passed. Very few freckles dusted his pale cheeks.
Sighing he ran a hand threw his hair and felt the familiar lock of hair that decides to rebel and sticks up curling on the top of his head. He doesn't know why it does that. He's tried using gel but it doesn't stay down.
His hoodie was a green with a darker green hood. He wore a blue shirt underneath that had a picture of a PS3 controller with lighter blue paint splatters behind it.
He wore blue jeans and black Converses. He had rectangular glasses that sat comfortably on his nose pushed up all the way.
This boys name was Jaden Devlin.
His brother, who was the one driving, noticed his little brother's actions.
Sighing, his brother paid attention to the road again. His brother's name was Duke. Duke had long black hair that he pulled into a high ponytail. He had emerald eyes, just like their dad's, and he wore a red headband. He had his usual outfit on, a red t-shirt with a black sleeveless jacket over it. He also had black skinny jeans and black shoes.
Duke took after his father; meanwhile, Jaden took after his mother. Jaden sighed at this thought.
The 21 year old looked back at his little brother. "Listen, I know you didn't want to leave Riia and the rest but come on. Don't pout like a baby about it. Plus you need to get used to living here now, I'm not going to stay long."
Jaden looked at his brother shocked. He sat up straighter. "What do you mean you're not staying long?"
Duke grumbled something under his breath before speaking again. "What I mean is, I have work back at home and this is my vacation. I'm just going to get you settled in, get you a job, a car, and then I'm leaving."
Jaden balled his fists in anger. "What the hell kind of 'work' do you have anyways?! You're just a stuck up fucking gambler! Don't you have anytime for your damn family? You're just going to leave again?!"
Duke froze slightly but quickly snapped out of it to turn onto a street.
"I-I didn't know I was going to be gone that long last time. Besides, I can't sit around and baby you forever."
Jaden accusingly pointed a finger at his brother. "You left mom and I for three years! And now finally when you get back you're just going to leave again!"
Duke let Jaden yell a few more things at him before stopping the car in front of a small 1 story house.
"We're here." The older said coolly.
Jaden looked out the window at the house and sighed. "Fine let's get this over with."
