Prologue
Fire... Fire?! I ran out of my room to see what was happening. As soon as I reached the stairs, I was met by a red and orange mass of flames. As reflex I ran to my parents bedroom to see if they were alright.
"Mom? Dad?" I pounded on their door hoping for a response, but I stopped once my hands started to blister because of the heat generating on the other side. I attempted to kick down the door, but stopped short when I heard yelling.
"Mom!?! Dad!?! Answer me!!!" I yelled desperately. By this time, tears were flowing down my face, because of the smoke burning my eyes and the fear for my parents.
"Elena? Honey? We need you to stay calm and run," she replied as calmly as she could manage.
"Calm?! How am I going to be calm?! Mom! We need to r- AHHH!!!"

I gasped as I sat straight up in my seat. I looked around and realized that I wasn't in my burning home, but sitting in an airplane passenger seat, waiting to meet my new life.
"Ladies and gentleman, please fasten your seat belts and place the seats in the upright position. We have begun our decent in-"
I stopped paying attention to the pilot and looked out the window. I saw lush green forests, quaint little towns that meet bright white sand and the sparkling waters. I sighed and placed my forehead against the cool glass and waited for the plane to touch down into my new home.

*sigh*
I know, I'm starting a new story when I haven't been uploading my other ones, but I'm actually trying to upload and focus more for this story by planning/typing out new chapters before publishing a new one. Hopefully that will help me upload this story more often... :P
Oh yeah... sorry that this was short... I'll try to make them longer lol tht sounds wrong...
