Chapter Three- "Now, you must carry me to school, my servant."

 The two days to settle in went by fast. It was Tuesday meaning it's going to be my first day at Howl. Uncle Keith and Aunt Tia bought me some basic necessities, while Safyre and Ryker went out with me to buy me some new clothes yesterday. Safyre even planned out my outfit for today. It consist of a black and white, cut-out shoulder top and dark gray skinny jeans. She insisted that I wear some heels, but she let me wear my high tops after persuading (begging) her to.

 I finished getting ready and went to the kitchen for something to eat. Ryker was already there eating another banana. I looked at him weirdly, but ignored him and grabbed a piece of toast. I hopped up to sit on the counter. When I looked at the clock we had five minutes before we had to leave for school. Ryker was still staring off into space while eating the banana.

 "Aye. Ryker? Another banana?" I asked, getting off the counter and snapping in front of his face.

 "Huh? What? Oh..., yeah. To lazy to make something."

 I raised an eyebrow at him then changed the subject, "So... Are we getting a ride or walking to school?"

 "I would usually get a ride to school, but  it's nice outside and mom has the car so we're walking."

 I nodded, looking at the clock, "Well, if we're gonna walk, then we should go now or else we'll be late. I'm just gonna grab my bag then let's go, " I said while leaving the kitchen. I grabbed my bag after packing up my supplies. When I got back downstairs Ryker was already half way down the drive-way.

 "Aye! Thanks for waiting! Pfft." Instead of casually catching up with him, I ran full speed and jumped onto his back.

 "Geez, woman! What they heck?" he said while holding on to the back of my knees and hiking me up his back.

 "That's what you get for leaving without me. Now, you must carry me to school, my servant, " I replied. "Oh, and Ryker? Where's your backpack?"

 "I left my bag at school since I didn't have work and so I didn't have to carry unnecessary weight today. I guess I was wrong on the second part."

 I scoffed, "I am not unnecessary. I am very important. So, servant, what's the school like?"

 "Whatever Ms. VIP. Uhm... The school is like any other school, but a little more intense. So be careful when you have gym 'cause everyone is competitive."

 "They can't be that bad, right?" I asked. How bad can this school be? I'm pretty sure it's like any other school. It's not like they're going to rip my throat out if I bump into them. Right? We got to school during zero hour, so I could get my schedule and look around.

 "It's not that bad, but don't get on people's bad side here, and annoying them 'kay? I don't want anything to happen to you, " he said while stepping onto school grounds.

 "Nothing's going to happen, dude. I'm a big girl now. I think I can handle things. As for not annoying people, no promises there. That's like telling an alpha not to protect his pack. It's second nature."

 Ryker's hold on my legs tighten after hearing what I said. "How do you know about alphas?" he asked, turning his head and looking at me.

 I shrugged and looked at him, "I did a report on wolves for extra credit. I was also in mythology club, so we learnt about werewolves and all that jazz. Why?"

 He cleared his throat and shook his head, "Uhm. No reason just asking."

 "Okay then, " I said skeptically. Ryker continued to carry me around school grounds. I looked around and noticed how most of the guys were pretty much all muscular. A few minutes later Ryker walked up to a group of people, who I assumed were his friends. The group was made up of three guys and two girls.

 "Wuddup people? You guys miss my hotness?" I did a very unlady-like snort after he said that. Ryker looked at his friends then at me, "Did you just snort, Ley?"

 I cleared my throat and looked at him, "Yeah, little bit, " I looked at his friends and back at him, "So gonna introduce me? Or act like I'm just your backpack?"

 Ryker shrugged and looked at his friends, "Guys, the talking backpack is my cousin, Elena. Elena, these are the guys." I jumped off his back and nodded at them without saying anything. I mean I couldn't really Ryker's introduction was slightly on the vague side. Okay very vague.

 One of the guys, who wasn't with a girl, came up to me, "'Sup, girl, wanna sing for me while we go on an adventure together?" I looked at him with an eyebrow raised. Is he trying to imply something? Pfft, I have to admit it was pretty funny. He had light brown hair and and bluish eyes. He was a little bit shorter than Ryker, but still taller than me and like all the other guys he was muscular. I mean seriously. Why is everyone so buff?

 "The name's Sorren, by the way, " he said with a wink.

 I looked him up and down, pretending to check him out, "Mhmm... Was that suppose to be a pick up line?" I smirked. His face immediately dropped when everyone let out a low "ooooh".

 "Ouch. Sorren you just got burnt!" one of the girls with red hair exclaimed. She was with the guy who looked slightly like Sorren, but with lighter gray-blue eyes. "I'm Rayne and that's my boyfriend, " she pointed to the Sorren almost-look-alike, who was standing next to her, "Skai. He's also Sorren's twin, but they're nothing alike." Instead of shaking my hand he glomped me into a hug.

 I laughed at how hyper she was, "Nice to meet both of you."

 The other two were Rene and Vincent. They were also dating. Rene was a sarcastic blond hair, blue eye girl and Vincent was pretty calm. He had black hair and brown eyes. All in all Ryker's friends were awesome. Even Sorren was surprisingly. He may seem like a player, but actually he's cool. Once you get to know him that is. We only had a few minutes until first period stated, so Ryker and I left the group to get my schedule and of course Ryker walks away before I do, so again I jump on to his back and make him carry me.

 "Must I continue to carry you?" Ryker asked incredulously.

 "Yes, yes you do. That is because you insist on walking in front of me, " I said looking over his shoulder, at him.

 "Hey, I'm just looking out for you, dude. You never know when you're gonna run into someone who's going to be a big influence on you." Just as he said that we ran into someone, really hard.

First day of HS was... interesting... My Western Civ. teacher called me Eric... wtf?! :P
