Elsa POV

"Hey Grandma! I'm good.. Summer? Summer wasn't much fun honestly. A lot of arguments with some old and close friends.. Oh! And Jack my boyfriend who was in the hospital for.. Uh, Doesn't matter.. yeah well he got better! And now were talking about moving in together after graduation. But, I'm not really sure. I know he is 100% serious about it and really sure; But I just.. A lot has happened and I don't know if I can,

I don't know. I guess it just depends on how his parents take it." My hands rubbed my fore head in distress. The red letters on the stove stop clock read 11:04. I was working the 11:30 lunch time shift at the diner downtown. I snapped back to what my grandma was saying,

"What's happened? for starters we let some girl who had something against us take over our relationship. Then a old friend.. Miles! I'm sure you remember him! Well I thought he was the one for me.. Better influence and just all around a great guy! And he is! I thought maybe he was better then Jack and.. Maybe he still is but Jack.. God. I love him. I really do Grams. I know I'm only 17 and I should be experimenting with other guys. Finding my options or whatever but I've never felt this way about someone and I don't want to try and find out if I can feel this way with someone else." I flipped open a water bottle cap and took a swing while my Grandma replied saying how she gets it. When really she didn't.

"Remember when I told you how everyone's scared of us? Me and Jack? How everyone just clears the hallway in our presence. Well guess what! I found a girl friend. Her name is Sarah Halfway. She looks a lot like Anna it's kinda weird. How is Anna, by the way? Auntie told me she moved in with you. Thats Good! Tell her I love her okay? And that I miss her. I was hoping to come up there this summer but just Jack and everything. Oh crap grandma I'm late for work I gotta go. Yes I'll be safe. I love you so much. Yeah. Okay love you bye" I clicked the end button and slipped it into my jean shorts back pocket. I grabbed my purse and dumped my water bottle into the sink then rushed out to my car.

The bitter taste of reality was started to settle in. Last year in high school, graduation in less then a year, collage for god knows what career, moving in with Jack, making my own money for good instead of living of the governments sympathy. It's all coming into check now; And it bites.

I parked in the back of the building and got out. Walking to the kitchen back door, I whipped my hair up and wrapped my apron around my waist. Once inside I swiped my card and grabbed a note pad. A couple sat down in the booth and was handed a menu. I started to walk over and take their drink order. I looked into his eyes, then hers eyes and when I opened my mouth to speak nothing came out besides a ear piercing scream.

I LOVE THIS CHAPTER and I wanted to continue it but I wanted to leave a cliff hanger. but mostly Because I'm in a different country and right now I'm camping with no wifi except a little place up the road. were super busy and stuff during the day so it's late and I'm writing while laying in a tent. So you'll see this in the morning. but thank you for reading and I love you.
