Elizabeth #destiny, that no one knows

Prologue

Third person P.O.V

"Hey mom."Elizabeth said as she walked into the kitchen holding the phone between her left shoulder and her head as she walked over to the kitchen to grab a snack.

"Hey bun bun ,what's up" her foster mom ,May ,said as she and her husband,Peter,were reversing out of their work drive way to go home to their two daughters Elizabeth and Laura.

"Nothing much mom, just wanted to ask what the plan was for me for college " Elizabeth said as she opened the fridge and took out a box of strawberries and the Nutella jar.

Elizabeth was getting ready to move to Burn-town.She had just graduated from high school and wanted to go to a good college with the courses that she wanted to complete in becoming a doctor.The only problem was that the closest college that she wanted to go to was about a day and a half drive, without making any stops.She would barely get to see her foster parents.

"Bun bun couldn't you wait until we get home"said May in her silk sweet voice .

"I'm just excited ,it's not every day that you get to move to a new town to go to college."Elizabeth said with a sad smile. "I'm gonna miss you guys." She finally said after a pause as she dipped the strawberry into the melted Nutella then ate it.

"Well miss you too."Both May and Peter said as the phone was now on speaker. "We were planing to let you move in with The Richards as a nanny to their little girl Ann ,but first you have to go through an interview"said May.

"That sounds nice but who are The Richards?"asked Elizabeth eating another strawberry dipped in Nutella.

"Do you remember Jade our coworker?" Peter asked

"How could I forget?" Said Elizabeth while getting up to pack back her snacks into the fridge and then retreating to her bedroom.

This was true because both of her foster parents were close to Jade and she was the nicest person Elizabeth has ever met.She was very trusted by them.

"Well she said that she knew some people who lived in burn-town and were looking for a nanny,she said that they even would make a schedule that would fit in with your classes. It seems like she had talked to them about you already and there very excited to see you."May said

"That's cool so when is the interview?"Elizabeth asked once again while sitting on the bed

"It's in three days and we're gonna have to meet them there."said Peter

"That sounds good"Elizabeth said.

Every thing about her life was great plus she had supportive parents.Her life was basically perfect to the eyes of others.......but it wasn't .Her parents weren't truly nice to her and they wouldn't miss her at all,they didn't even like her and she knew it.They were only acting kind because some one else was in their car.

Their boss

Jackson Jame owner and founder of J.J company ,was going over to their house for dinner,otherwise they would of probably not answered her call.Elizabeth just wanted to test the theory if they were actually going to be nice to her and see how it feels to have caring parents.From when they adopted Elizabeth she new something was up and after about 2 year they started treating her like she was useless,she sometimes wondered why they even adopted her.For her college they were basically paying her to move far away from them.

They said they'd pay for her college degree, even though they said that they know that she won't make it far in life, as long as she stayed far from them and left them alone. All of that information that they said was all of Elizabeth's plan. She went and did her own research and told them the plan although they said that they didn't even care about what she did. She called them to see if they would remember it or what they would say.It was true that Jade was trusted and only she knew about what was truly happening,she had pity for the young adult and suggested the Richards.

After a while her foster parents started treating her bad.They would abuse her both mentally and verbally ,They would mostly call her names like weirdo and an alien for being born with blue hair, no matter how many times she tries to dye or cut her hair, it's back to normal within a week. She went on her whole life telling people that she had dyed her hair blue.

Jackson was a nice person but he didn't have found feelings for Elizabeth's parents .She use to wish that she had a parent as kind and smart as him ,but she was still grateful .He's only 10 years older than her.Could you believe it, a 28 your old running a business that was skyrocketing.

But he was pretty handsome , with his always jelled back black hair and his olive tanned skin.Most girls said it was his amazing green eyes and his perfect jaw line that had them always fangirling or his tall structure.

Some of his friends assumed he and Elizabeth were dating because of how close they were but they were truly only best friends. They met at a coffee shop and they instantly clicked.

But her parents had no idea.

Though he had no idea how her parents treated her but he knew every else about her even her hair but he thought it was beautiful and told her that it was a blessing.

but anyway back to the conversation

"where is Laura?"asked May.Eagerly wanting to hang up the phone.

"She went out."Elizabeth said .

Laura was the actual child by birth and they always preferred her over Elizabeth ,but Laura didn't like Elizabeth either with different reasoning. By this time Elizabeth was use to the hate already but that didn't mean it still didn't hurt. Elizabeth is one year older than Laura'The were best friends when they were younger ,even though her parents didn't approve , but something changed some moths after Laura hit high school.

"Where"asked May

"um......A bar"Elizabeth shyly said.she didn't like snitching but she knew they would press her for the true reason plus she wasn't that good at lying .

"What!" Peter, May and Jackson shouted as a figure appeared in the middle of the rode but their screams were silence by a loud scorching sound that Elizabeth would never forget.

Elizabeth thought they had a very bad reaction to what she had said.What have I done were her last thoughts until everything went dark.

This was only suppose to be the explanation of how everything started and why Elizabeth is moving to Burn-Town but I ended up putting more information than needed.Keep in mind that Lizzy (short for Elizabeth) was not very close to her foster parents but she did still love them even though they abused.

As I said at the beginning this is my first book but I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
