A new beginning

Elizabeth P.O.V

   I tapped my fingers to the beat of the music in the coffee shop as I thought of every thing that had happened that led up to this moment.Only a month ago my foster parents were both killed in a car accident and my best friend-Jackson-was put in the hospital with broken bones due to the same accident that was my fault.

   Due to the fact that Jackson had a seat bet on ,was sitting in the back seat and had quick reflexes or like that something he got out with some broken bones but he surprisingly is recovering quickly. I visited him everyday until he told me that I should start worrying about my collage instead of him witch I strongly disliked , but it was already 2 weeks into the collage year so he was right.

I had to see a psychologist for a while because I said it was my fault why they were killed but I had to convince myself that it was not true in order .I was sad yes but but I never cried .look on the bright side, I said to my self, I get to start out a new life.No one to have pity on me,no one to mock me about my past .I get a new beginning and I'll strive for excellence I convinced myself.

I was so deep in thought that I hadn't realized the shadow above me when I looked up it there seemed to be a woman just standing there with a grin on her face.You might think that it was a weird and stalker grin but it was actually heart warming plus she was gorgeous.

She had light brown hair that was probably cut shoulder length but then it grew out a couple of inches, nicely tanned skin that looked like it was kissed by the sun.her eyes were basically blue crystals on how they shined.It was than that i realized two things:

1. I was being a creep for staring even though she walked up to me .

2.I was staring at Mrs.Richards.

I was a bit frozen in that moment and she looked so young. I quickly shook my head and stood up immediately stood up.

"You must be Elizabeth"Mrs.Richards spoke a calm sweet voice.

"Yes mam, but how did you know ?"I asked puzzled.

"Jade told me you'd be in the least crowded place and would most likely be staring off into space.She also mentioned your hair color."Mrs.Richards said while pulling out the chair at the other side of the table.

"oh"I  whispered and slid into my chair wanting to slap myself in the head for my stupidity. 

It was true that I would tend to sit alone when I'm in an unfamiliar area.Most of the people in the shop were on the other side of the shop while I sat on the side with only 4 other people who were both on dates.Me and my smurf head stood out completely besides the fact that I was sitting all alone at a two people table.

"so lets begin"Mrs.Richards spoke

"Yes Mrs. Richards"I said polity even though it felt weird because she looks like she could be around my age somewhere.

"Call me Ruby"She said to which I was more than happy to do.

"Yes ,Ruby"I said with a very small smile.

"I just wanted to say that I am very sorry about you loss"She said to which made the small smile I had left fall along with my face towards my lap where I twiddled with my fingers.

"I know it must be hard for you that you lost your parents and I understand how you feel,but if you ever need to talk to about anything at all I'll be here for you even if you get this job or not.I just wanted to tell you that"she said being genuine with my hand in hers that she took while she talked.

That again brought another small smile to my face.After all that's happened no one genuinely asked me that.

"Thanks it means a lot to me"I said looking up to her.Then we both retrieved.

"No problem ,now lets begin"She started"I'm going to ask you some questions and I need you to answer them truthfully,I might ask some that was on the form."She spoke to witch I shook my head. 

"Now , How old are you and hen is you birth date"Ruby asked

"I'm 18 and I was born on October 12,1999"I replayed.

"Whats your full name?"She asked

"Elizabeth Hikari Carter"I said

"Where are you from?"she Asked

"Miller Bea"I said

"Have you ever babysat or been a Nannie before?"

"I use to baby sit the Kids in my neighborhood when all the adults went for movie nights"

"Are you good in the kitchen?"

I grinned "I'm told that I make the best cookies and i'm a very good chief"I said excitedly

"Which collage are you going to to be exact and why aaand(she dragged it out) why do you need this job.I mean you could just rent an apartment."she asked watching me closely.

"Well i'm going to the Pellimore Collage because they have almost the collage courses i was looking for like Human Genetics and Chemistry.I'm not so sure why I chose this job though , But when Jade showed we the ad you had up i just had a feeling in my gut.I'm not so sure but I promise I wont fail you."I replied after a short pause.

"Elizabeth"Ruby said placing the stack papers she had in hand from the beginning of the interview on the table and looking me dead in the eye."Why do you want to become a doctor and trained in becoming a vet?"She asked

"It might seem silly but when I was younger and even now sometimes now I would have this dream that would fill in a last second or clip every time I dream it as if I was remembering an old memory ,but it got suck at the same ending for a whole year."I said while staring of into the distance before I continued "In the dream there was very young girl that looked like me,maybe 3 or 4 and she was walking around in a garden like place while giggling and when she reached to the end of the garden her laughing stopped at the sight in front of her.I it had seemed to be a wolf pup that looked hurt.As if another animal had pierced through its shoulder.Then I could feel the girls feelings and all she felt was sadness and wanted to help the Pup but when she started walking towards the pup I would always wake up.That's the furthest I've reached .Since the first dream all wanted to do was help people and animals and the doctor and Veterinarian title clinged to me."I ended with a sigh

When I looked up at Ruby she smiled and said"That's not silly at all." 

"I've got a last question,I herd that you have a handful of talents."She said ,and with a questionable look she asked"What are they"

"um Well I can play a couple of instruments like the Piano and Guitar ,I'm good at Artery and Soccer ,I dance and I can sing a bit I said and I'm good with animals."If you had these talents but these were from my foster parents because they sent me off to classes when I was younger to avoid having to take care of me.The only ones that came from me naturally was Artery,Singing which came along with Dancing and being good with animals.

"Wow that's good"She said which I just shook my head in response.

"Well Elizabeth"Ruby said "Your hired"

"Really" I said excitedly and ran to the other side of the table to give her a hug

"Yes of coarse"she said "Ann will love you, When would you like to move in?"Ruby asked

"Now would be good,I already have my stuff in the car."I said

Ruby looked surprised at first then said "Sure, But why"She asked

"I'm just excited that's all"I lied, I hate lying
