"Is it that girl ? Marinette was it ? She's cute." yeah she is.. wait I love Ladybug, what am I thinking??!
"Yeah, but I wanna surprise her"

later that night
"Hey m'lady how are you?" Chat asks politely "I'm good, but no time to chat, we need to part ways for patrol, see you later kitty," Ladybug says grabbing her yoyo and swinging through the beautiful city of Paris, blending in at the park where she saw people needing help, as Chat went on his own path, thinking about his lady

after patrol

"Hey bugaboo, I was wondering if you want to spend some more time together, and get to know more about each other, you know ? Maybe I'll let you see who I am under the mask, you never know" Chat says with a smirk, putting his arm around Ladybug's shoulders.
"You know we can't do that, it could put us and other civilians in danger if they found out.
Plus, I don't even know if I do want to find out who you are.." Ladybug says sadly, moving Chat's arm off of her.

Chat starts to look sad too but then thinks of an idea, that is cruel and unlike him

she never said I could know her behind HER mask

"Okay, I understand m'lady.. see you tomorrow.." Chat says purposely sadly, trying to trick Ladybug
"I'm sorry kitty, I'll see you." Ladybug says, jumping off into a nearby alley
Chat pretends to be going his own way, but as soon as he sees the Ladybug can't see him, he stealthily follows her, and from a nearby roof he sees her stand there, and detransform

I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I have a right to know who the love of my life is under the mask

"Spots off!"

As if time were slowed down, Chat saw her, carefully coming out of the alley looking to see if there were any bystanders around.

And at that moment, Chat instantly recognised her, as his first friend when he started school, one of his best friends..

"Marinette?"

Marinette.. is the love of my life ?

how could I never see the resemblance?
