Awkward conversation

At Marinette's house

Marinette is currently thinking about the love of her life, Adrien Agreste, teen model, son of a famous fashion designer, and one of her close friends and classmate. Marinette was staring at the pictures on her wall, full of him, when Tikki came into her line of view

"Marinette, you can't just stare at Adrien all day," Tikki said with her sweet high-pitched voice

what else is there to do

"Do you want to sit outside with me ? It's supposed to be really nice out tonight."
"Sure!" Tikki respond happily

After sitting out there chatting with Tikki, she brings up the topic of Chat Noir, and their conversation they had earlier that night.

"Marinette, I think you should be more trusting in your partner, after all, he was offering to reveal his identity to you because he trusts you so much!" Tikki explains thoughtfully

"I do trust him. I really do.. But I don't want our lives or and one else's lives to be in danger, so we must keep them a secret. You I understand why I do this, don't you Tikki?"

Tikki nods, but quickly hides

"Huh?" Marinette says quietly as she hears a soft thud behind her startling her

"Hey there Purrincess, whatcha up to," Chat says smugly
"Oh hey Chat, what're you doing here ? Shouldn't you be doing superhero stuff with Ladybug or something? " Marinette says, confused

Chats POV

"No, we've already done patrol for the night so I'm good. But, earlier I saw you, just wondering the streets, why was that ?" I ask, trying to see what she'll say as an excuse

"W-well I was coming back from my best friend's house because we.. uh..
had a project to work on! Yeah. Workin' on the good ol' project, yes sir indeed."

What a terrible lie

I lean in closer, inspecting her face, with a suspicious look on my face on purpose to try to get her to crack.
"Are you lying?"

Marinette looks shocked, and quickly takes a step back once she realizes how close we were.Then, she looks really nervous and is looking at me straight into my eyes.

"No, I was with my best friend, Alya." Marinette says as confidently as possible

"hmm, whatever you say, m'lady,"
I say bowing

Marinette looks so surprised, I try not to laugh at what I've just done
"Something wrong ?" I say as innocently as possible, trying not to give my intentions away

"U-uhm n-no not really it's just you've never called me that before," Marinette says

why is she stuttering now ? she usually just does that when I'm Adrien
I mean myself

ugh this being two different people thing is hard

"Okay, well I'll see you sometime soon, so be expecting me!! Cat out!"
I say as I jump off of her balcony

whew, over 500 words in like half an hour, that's hard
I'm sorry if I'm not a good writer, but to me the story makes sense so far but idk for you guys ( if anyone is even reading lol) but thanks for reading and if there's any suggestions on plot details you think I should add, tell me! I gotchu fam
