(Queen's P.O.V.)
After Ben asked me out, he had left the room shortly after. When he had walked out the door, I sighed and smiled.
I walked to my bed and sat down. Me and Jeff were both silent for a while. Jeff seemed deep in thought and I decided to go downstairs.
The date wasn't until the night, and I wasn't really the type of person who took hours to get ready.
"Mercury," I heard Slenderman call from a distance, "Get Jeff and meet me in my office."
I grunted. Not because I didn't like Slenderman. But because I had to go back up the stairs.
When I got up to the room, Jeff was still sitting on his bed staring at the floor.
"Jeff?" he looked up with a creepy ass smile.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Slenderman wants to talk to us."
He groaned and got up, still smiling. And I don't mean the permanent smile attached to his face.
Something smelled fishy. Probaly Jeff. And I didn't like it one bit.
He held the door and said, "Ladies first."
"Then shouldn't you walk through first?" I asked him innocently.
His face almost faltered but he caught himself and just replied by guestering his hand out the door. I walked out.
He followed behind and quietly shut the door.
After a minute of walking, we had reached Slenderman's office. When Jeff put his hand up to the door to knock, it opened.
"Welcome," the tall man said as we walked into the huge room. "You do know why I called you here, right?"
I shook my head no as Jeff just put his hands in his pockets.
"Last night, you two killed sixty three people." Slenderman's voice was deep. "Will one of you please explain to me as to why this happened?"
Jeff spoke up. I knew he would blame it all on me, well, it was my fault. "Slendy, it was all my idea. I got carried away when my blood lust came, and she couldn't do anything but do what I told her."
My hands twitched.
Why did he take the blame?
The lean figure looked down on us and spoke, "I don't ever want to hear of such a mass-murder again. Mass murders in small spots aren't good, and you both know that. I know it was your first time out, Mercury, but I still must give you a punishment."
"You, Mercury, will not leave 100 feet away from this yard for a week." he said to me as I put my head down.
"And you Jeff, I expected more of you." Jeff just stared at him blankly.
"Jeff, you must stay downstairs in the basement in exile for a month."
"A month?" I screamed.
"Yes, a month, Mercury, do you have a problem with that?" the Slenderman asked me.
I looked at Jeff from the side of my eye and shook my head.
"Good," he said saunting away, "Your punishment starts now. Jeff, you have five minutes to get down there or I'm sending Smile down there. Now leave."
We walked out and Slenderman closed the door.
I don't know why, but I hugged Jeff. I hugged him really tight and he hugged back.
"Why?" I asked him.
"Why what?" Jeff aksed back.
"Why did you do it- Why did you take up for me?"
"I had to." he simply said and walked away.
I watched him go to the basement. I said goodbye, but he didn't bother. At least I tried.
After all, I wouldn't be seeing him for a month.
