Don't Be Scared (Jack Frost x Male! Reader)

Chapter 7

Jack's POV

Slowly my eyes open. But soon after, I close them from the harsh sunlight. Taking a few seconds I try again but cautiously. I gradually sit up only to have a sharp pain run through my head. I grip my face with a heavy sigh.

"Damn..." I squint and look around. Around me were pale walls with decorative floral details. Vaguely remembering having a party at a fancy mansion. Though I don't remember how I managed to find the guest room. With my limited strength I stand. But, soon after wobble and  grasp on to the wooden windowsill. I push open the window and am quite happy to be welcomed by cold air. Helping me relieve the pain.

After a while I decide to wash up. Going to the bathroom attached to the room I stop in the door frame. My eyes catch a piece of paper folded neatly by two small pills. Eager to read it I grab the letter.

Dear Jack,

You were a tad tipsy last night. So I brought you to bed. Remember to ease up on the champagne. I don't want you to get rough with anyone in bed. That's something I want to have reserved. There should be some medicine I left for that hangover. See you later snowflake~

Hallow

After reading that letter I toss it back on the sink's vanity. Feeling embarrassed from hallows flirtatious comment. I take the medicine and swallow. I blush now thinking of what I said to him last night.

'What did I say?' I ask myself with utter curiosity. I let it go and continue to start my day.

It so happens to be the middle of November. With December easing in ever so closely. So far, I'm caught up with the regions that call for snow and frost in the areas that are north.

I just so happen to be passing by Jamie's town and wanted to check in. He so happened to have a snow day from the one and only. Ha. I swoop into a tree and search for Jamie. I search for him and no luck.

'For sure I thought he'd be out playing with his friends.' I ponder where he could be. Without a second later I hear a gust of wind behind me.

"Hey Snowflake." I hear a mischievous yet strong voice.

"What's up Hallow. How's my only spooky friend doing?"

"Doing a special mission in this god damn cold. Seriously I'm freezing!" He says with a shiver. I turn around to see. His bundled up head to toe. His (f/c) scarf around his neck and thick black jack around his figure.

"Oh come on it's just 12 degrees." I chuckle.

"What!? 12 degrees my as- oooh never mind. Anyway, do you know a kid named Jamie?" He sighs.

"Yeah. I was looking for him too."

"Cool. Can you help me find him his my mission at the moment." He smiles.

" I guess I could but I'm a busy spirit Hallow." I smirk to show my stubbornness.

" oh so I see. You want something in exchange. How about..." he flys close toward me. So close to where his face is barely in inch from mine. I feel my eyes grow wide and face grow hot. He knows this because he smirks. Trying to find a reply I just stare back into his eyes. Every second felt like forever.

"I treat you to dinner?" He smiles an innocent smile but I know there's more behind it. I grow some confidence.

" Sounds good enough. Sure. Let's find Jamie." I fly upward in the wind and start the hunt. Being honest to myself I was quick into finding him for (M/N). Though I couldn't admit it.

We look high and low ,but no sigh of Jamie. He was absolutely no where.

"Where is he?" I begin to get irritated.

"Oh no, I need to hurry up and find him or I'll be late." (M/N) groans.

"Late for what?" I look over my shoulder to glance back at him. He had a face of despair and guilt.

"The confession. Jamie is going to confess to a girl ,but I need to give him that confidence." He again groans and runs his hand through his thick (h/c) hair. He even bites his lip to calm himself down. I stare at his lips for a second but got back on track. The main issue at hand.

"A confession? Woah Jamie is sure growing up. Ok we'll find him. I know one place he always goes that is secret. A place where I think would be that best place to confess." I state with a grin of determination.

Quickly I fly toward the woods and (M/N) not too far behind me. With out a doubt we find Jamie and to make matters better with a girl. She is a friend of his that I've seen before. I smile and look over to Hallow seeing his also smiling. He looks around and starts to walk away.

"Wait I thought you needed to give him confidence?" I whisper hoping the small lovebirds won't notice.

" I am. Just looking for-" he stops abruptly to a pair of white fluffy wings.

The owner was a male with fair skin and pale blue eyes. Along with a short almond brown hair. He too was bundled up like (M/N) for it was 'freezing' outside. He looked at (M/N) with a small glare. I frown for it gave me a bad first impression.

"Where were you Hallow? The poor thing is a stuttering mess and his starting to give up." He whispers to him quite harshly.

"Not to worry I made it now let's get it done." He whispers back with a lot of confidence in himself and the other guy. My frown hardens for who is this guy? (M/N) then grabs a dried up leaf from his pocket. He then crushes it in his hand and opens it. It was in a fine powder with a golden glow. He looks over to this stranger and nods. Signaling something and on cue his blow the powder out of (M/N)'s hand. The dust flies up with a pink cloud around it. He smiles at his work as it flies toward Jamie.

"What was that?" They both stay quite and watch the two young kids.

I then look at them too. Jamie is hit by this magic dust and seems to have calmed down. Amazed I stare longer at what his going to do now. He grabs the girls face and gives the girl a peck on the cheek.

"I like you." He says clear as day. I couldn't help but grin at his confession. His so innocent it was just adorable to watch. The girl blushes but soon hugs him right after.

"Good work." The guy whispers.

"No sweat. It was nothing. You're the one that gave it passion or should I saw some love."
(M/N) replies back. I then piece it together. THIS GUY IS CUPID. ~
