The first day Of 10th grade

April's P.O.V.

       "Are you sure you don't need me to drive you to school,"My mom said to me nicely. "Yes mom I'm fine, I'm riding with my friends and Alex is driving cause he already has his license," I said annoyed. "Ok love you bye,"My mom said excited. "Bye I love you," I said as I was walking out of the door. "APRIL!" I hear someone yell from a distance.
   
          I turn my head over my shoulder and see Alex waving me down. I run to his car and sit in the back. Karma turns around and says,"Hey April I know your not used to this,"She says while laughing. "No not really," I chuckled. "Ok April we need to talk about having a better year than last year," Fiona states.
          
          "What do you mean a better year than last year, we became a couple," Alex stated as he begins to hold Karma's hand. "Can we just drive I don't wanna be late to school goddammit," I raise my voice. "Damn what's gotten into her," Alex said while throwing shade. I roll my eyes. Alex pulls the gear and let's go of Karmas hand.
       
            I have my nose in my phone the whole ride. All of the sudden the car stops. I look up and all of my friends are getting out of the car. "Oh shit," I mumbled and get my things in order. I put all of my supplies in my book bag and rush out of the car.
         
            "It's 7:28 Class starts at 7:30 and I'm on floor 2, FUCK," I yell. "Who do you have for homeroom," Fiona asked. I grab my agenda and slide my paper of classes paper out and read it. "It says I have.... Mr........Urie," I said. "Yay were in the same homeroom I have him too," She exclaimed.

            "WELL WE GOTTA HURRY WERE ABOUT TO BE LATE," I yelled at her. We start running. We run down the halls and we run up the stairs. We look at the map and run to room 11. We run inside out of breath and everyone in the class looks at us.
  
            I look across the room and see a very attractive man in a leather jacket standing in front of the room. "Your late," the hot guy said. "Are we in the right class," I ask. "What is your homeroom teachers name," the hot guy asks. "That would be Mr.Urie," I said.
 
          "That would be me," He said with a sexy smile on his face. I try to hide the blush on my face and sat down quickly. "Role call," He said a little loud. He called all the names and everyone said here or present until he called me,"April Smith."

          "That'll be me," I said Quietly. He looked at me and gave me a sexy lip bite, I couldn't help it but blush. He had us read the first two chapters of The Outsiders. He told us to write a gist of chapter 1 and a summary of chapter 2. He walks around the classroom as everyone works.

            I drop my pen on the floor on accident. He bends down to get it and I feel and nice tingle feeling on my leg. I look down and see Mr.Urie handing my pen to me. I feel my phone vibrate on my desk as he walks away. It's from Fiona -Text- "You totally have something for him OMG."

            I turn to see if Mr.Urie was paying attention to us. He was on his phone so I to turn to Fiona and smile and text her back. -Text- "Maybe idk he's pretty hot but he's my teacher I can't really do anything with him even if I wanted to and plus he's not even worried about me one bit." I look look at Fiona and smile. She texts me back," Yah your right you'll get in serious trouble if you did".

            I start typing," He probably has a girlfriend with that face or maybe a wi--" "April you have detention for being on your phone in class and hand it over as well,"He said with his hand out ready to take my phone. I give him my phone and put my head down. "HOLY CRAP I FORGOT TO TURN OFF MY SCREEN," I thought. "Excuse me Mr.Urie could you or could I turn off my screen please," I said as I look at him.

            His eyes unlock from my phone and he says,"To late April," He said while smirking. "Oh shit," I said out loud. The whole class looks at me and I cup my mouth hoping Mr.Urie didn't hear me. "Another day of Detention," He said smirking. "Wait no," I say out loud. "A whole week, I could keep on going if you like," He said then licked his lips. I cross my arms with a attitude for the rest of the class period.
