Chapter Five

Elsa's P.O.V

I ran over to the entrance, and I saw millions and millions pieces of glass scattered near the door. Some of the pieces of glass had lines on them, which made up a picture.

Flashback

Mother and Father came into the foyer with a giant piece of stained glass. "On this glass, is a picture of me and your mother." Said my father to Anna and I. "We know that you will miss us when we go on the cruise, but when you look at this picture, remember, we are always with you no matter where we are." He continued pointing to his heart.

Flashback over

When we heard that the boat our parents were on sunk in a storm, we thought our life was over. Everyday, I looked at that picture and it reminded me of my parents.

I looked at the broken glass on the courtyard as tears rolled down my face. Anna came over to me and sat next to me. She was crying too. We hugged each other and didn't let go until we heard a 'neigh' from a horse. I looked back and I saw Jacobs parents with Thomas riding into the castle grounds.
