*Dani's POV*

"Sam where's my cap? We have to leave in 5 minutes!" I yelled.

"It's in the bag with your gown. Dad and Justin are the truck already. Let's go." She replied appearing at the doorway.

I scooped up my gown and walked out behind her. I locked the front door and walked over to the truck, getting in the passenger side.

"Let's go. I can't be late." I told Sam.

She started up the truck and we headed out.

"When am I getting changed?" Justin asked for what felt like the millionth time.

"When you get older. You're too young to be changed. Maybe after you graduate high school we can talk about it." I told him.

Ever since he found out that not only is his sister-in-law a vampire but so was his sister and father one also he's been asking to be changed too.

"She's right. You're not even old enough to drive yet." Dad told him.

"It's just not fair. You three are vampires and I want to be one too. A family of vampires, it'll be cool." Justin said.

"Should I tell him about the horrible burning we have to go through?" I thought to Sam.

"Sure. Maybe it'll shut him up for a while." She thought back.

"Do you really want to have to go through a horrible burning to become one of us? It wouldn't be 'cool' then. It feels like you're on the fucking sun, being submerged in acid and setting yourself on fire all at the same time. The pain is so intense and you can't do anything, you're pretty much bound and gagged through the two hours. You're alone in blackness not knowing how the people you love are taking it. I tripped over wires, fell off a stage and broke my neck. It was the only thing that saved me. If Kuza hadn't gotten to me in time I could very well be dead right now. So shut up about getting changed and grow up a bit. It's not something to be taken lightly." I told Justin.

He started to say something else but I was tired of hearing him.

"ENOUGH JUSTIN!" I growled with my fangs bared.

He didn't say another word the entire ride.

"You really didn't have to growl at him. But as far as effectiveness went it works." Sam thought to me when we pulled into the auditorium where graduation was being held.

"I know. I snapped. I'll get him something as an apology later. A new game sounds good. I'll take him out and let him pick it." I thought back.

We got out of the truck and walked into the auditorium.

"Graduates through that door, friends and family through this one." A guy told us.

I separated from Sam, Dad and Justin and went trough the door pointed out.

"Dani! Over here!" I heard a familiar voice call out.

"Taylor, hey." I said once she came into view.

"Tonight's the night. All those long hours studying together paid off huh?" She asked.

"Yeah it did." I replied not adding the fact that Sam had sent tons of naughty photos to keep me going.

"Need help with your cap?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah. Thanks." I replied.

I unzipped the bag and handed her my cap while I put in my gown. She helped me pin my cap on. The line-up started soon after that. I was in the B's since I had finally decided to take Sam's last name. We filed out and into our seats.
