"Hey, good morning,"
John furrows his eyebrows with annoyance and turns around, not bothering to open his eyes. "Let me sleep, Alexander,"
"But I want to spend time with my husband," John smiles.
"You know, you can call me other things too. Like my name for example," Ever since they had gotten married a week ago Alexander had referred to John as nothing but "husband". Secretly, the South Carolinian loved it. After so many years of fighting to stay together, John could finally say that he was Alexander Hamilton Laurens' husband and that Alexander was his.
"I don't think so, husband," Alexander decided with a giddy smile.
"You're a dork," John announced.
"Well, you're married to that dork now,"

"Husband, breakfast is almost ready!" Alexander loudly says.
"I know, Alex," Says John. "I'm standing right next to you,"
"Just making sure," The smaller male puts the two plates on the table and turns around, looking at his husband with a smirk.
"What do you want?" John groans with a hint of endearment. Alexander simply points at his apron.
"Kiss the cook"
He rolls his eyes and gently puts a hand on the Nevisian's waist, giving him a chaste kiss. "If you wanted a kiss you just had to ask,"
"But that ain't fun, is it?"
They sit down next to each other on the round circle and start eating their breakfast, which is blueberry pancakes with whipped cream and milk, almond milk for John. It tastes heavenly but Alexander can't help but forget his food for a few seconds and stare at the silver band around John's finger. He never thought he'd ever be lucky enough to have this. To wake up and have breakfast with the love of his life who he's married to. It's a dream come true.
"I love you," He says, John looks up with a piece of pancake between his teeth.
He gives Alexander a syrup-filled smile. "I love you too, husband,"
He snorts. "Who's the dork now,"
"Still you,"
