Chapter 30

Wow! Chapter 30 already, it's moving on quickly.

*Kara's POV*

I am so pissed yet so happy. I know that I was the one who stormed out but Tom hasn't called me or anything to check how I was after our fight. But on the plus side, my birthday party is today. My birthday isn't until the 4th of August but that is the only time Ben could get off to spend some time with me. And when I say Ben I don't mean someone that can get my mine of Tom no. Ben is Benedict Cumberbatch as in Sherlock from the TV series. Tom introduced me to him a year ago and since then we have been best friends. Tom doesn't get jealous when I talk to Ben, like he did with Jeremy, because he knows that I definitely only like him as a friend. No offence to him but he isn't really my type.

"Kara? You ready?" Abi shouts from the bottom of the stairs. We are having the party back in England and me and Tom flew back the day after Abi flew back.

"Yeah one sec, I just need to sort out my hair quickly" I shout back. For the party I am wearing a Tiffany blue strapless knee high dress with floral Nike Blazers. My hair is dip dyed red with a flower print bow in it. My jewelry consists of a Captain America Shield necklace. S.H.I.E.L.D earrings and a assortment of bracelets. I am a bit of a Marvel nerd and I am proud of it. It makes it so so so so much better when I have Loki as boyfriend.

"Awww baby, you look so pretty" Abi cooed as I came down the last few stairs.

"Shuushh" I hissed.

"Why? I can't tell my bestest friend in the whole wide world how beautiful she looks on her party day?"

I didn't say anything but I put my arm out and ushered Abi out the door and into the car.

"Do you think Tom is gunna be there?" I asked, slightly worried.

"Well he is the one who set this all up" Abi said as she started up the car.

"I know, it's just that he hasn't called me or anything. I just don't know what to do with him?"

"I know, just don't worry about him. If he talks to you today, don't walk away just talk to him. Hear him out and then go from there"

"Thanks Abi. I couldn't wish for a better friend" I said while hugging her.

We got to Benedict's house not long after we set off. Just from the outside you could tell there was a party going on. Hung up on his huge gate was a banner that said, 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARA!' in huge blue and red letters and there was balloons tied to it as well with all the Marvel character on them.

Abi turned to me, smiled and walked through the gates and into the house. I stepped one foot into the door way and everyone was there with confetti in their hands ready to throw at me. The next thing I know the confetti is no longer in their hands but in the air and all over me.

"Happy Birthday Kara" Everyone shouted as I walked further into the house while trying to rid myself of the confetti caught up in my hair.

"Thanks guys" I said back.

I looked around and saw all of my closest friends-Abi and Niall, Neve and Chris, Liam Hemsworth, Louis and Gina, Harry, Liam and Sophia, Zayn and Perrie, Calum and Liv, Shannon, Luke, Ashton and Maria, Michael, Benedict.

Some celebrities I know - Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr, and Mark Ruffalo and Martin Freeman- who were all probably all invited by Tom.

I saw one person in particular who I never thought I would ever see again.

Breanna Howard.

"Bree?"

"Kara" She enveloped me in a huge bone crushing bear hug. We haven't seen each other in 6 years. We both lived in Ireland and she occasionally hung out with me, Abi and Neve but it was mostly just me. She was in the same year as me at school.

"How did Tom find you?" I asked her.

"I work the theatre in London. When Tom went to go and watch a performance and he saw me"

"But how did he recognized me from photos you had up in your house"

"Speaking of Tom, where is he?" I asked.

"I think he is the garden talking to Benedict" Bree said.

"Thanks" I say and walk out towards the back door.

I look around till I find Tom. I walk over to him with my stomach filled with butterflies. I don't even know why I am nervous.

"Tom, could I speak to you?" I ask him after tapping him on his shoulder.

"Uhh, yeah sure" He said unsurely and left Benedict to talk to another guest.

"Thank you" I said after we stopped walking.

"For what?"

"For the whole party. And for finding Bree" I wasn't even looking at Tom because I was so ashamed.

Tom didn't say anything but I felt his hand tilt my chin up to make me look into his eyes.

"Kara I am so sorry that I upset you. I really don't mean to, it was just that I got jealous and I didn't like the fact that he was giving you so much attention. I am the only person that should make you feel smile like that"

I didn't reply with words. I replied by crashing my lips into his. It wasn't a quick peck on the lips and it wasn't a full on make out session. It was a kiss that was full of love and compassion that showed Tom that I forgave him.

*Abigail' POV*

Since Bree arrived I noticed that Liam, Chris' brother, has not been able to take his eyes off of her once. Time to do some match making me thinks.

I make my way over to Liam and tell him that someone want to talk to him in the garden near the pond and I go and tell Bree the exact same thing.

I called Niall over and we followed Bree out into the garden to watch what was going to happen.

I saw Bree and Liam smile as soon as they saw eachother. I couldn't tell what they were saying but I could tell it was going good because neither of them could wipe that smile off their face.

"Am I a matchmaker or am I a matchmaker?"

I know that this chapter is a bit off topic for the story but Kara begged me to write about this because her birthday is coming up soon and she wanted to include Benedict Cumberbatch in the story and she also wanted Bree, aka bah2000, to go out with Liam.
