where are memories stored, scrapbooks that's where memories are stored, but do we even have a scrapbook those things are expensive, oh wait we do have one in mom's room, alright let me get it.

We were on another expedition or that's what they like to call it, and like always they wouldn't leave my side. I blame our parents for that, mom having close ties with their parents. I have no doubt in my mind that they were sent over here to watch me by my mom while she is at work.

Tylis and Aidyn followed me through the house. We were all ecxited to go on another so called quest with each other but it was the least bit light hearted. There was an uneasy feeling in the air and we could all feel it. Tension covered our excitement as we came closer to the wooden door that lead into me mothers room.

It was so silent before I brought up this sensitive topic, well normally it would be sensitive to me but I guess we weren't worried about that we were all to busy thanking the heavens for this distraction that I had brought up.

We are all very good at hiding our emotions I guess that's why we all knew what we were thinking about. I am very grateful that we all knew what we were thinking about because not only was the silence absolutely unbearable but my words are like a door even though I am good at hiding my emotions I can not lie. If they would have asked me what I was thinking about or how i was feeling I would have to tell I can't lie like they can I was raised that way, and the boys know about my door they often abuse it with questions about secrets. Thankfully no one had to ask to know what we were thinking we already knew, my door remains locked for now.

The door to my mom's room on the other hand is not. We entered the dismal room. Mom's room smelled of fresh potatoes if potatoes even smell, mom is a farmer, best woman farmer there is, but she also sews rags and dresses the dresses are like rags though, they are made from rags and are stitched together by the person who made the rags.

No candles, torches or lanterns were lit, the only light was the small amount coming from the small window over mom's bed made for two.

we started searching being careful not to mess anything up. we've searched this room many times before there was a scrapbook here before I'm sure of it but we can't seem to find it this time I guess it's looming fact that this expedition could be our last.

Tylis was going to the military over at another kingdom. just for training he'll come back to our kingdom once he's done training.

I remember now the scrapbook was in a box Aidyn said. Oh yeah but the last time I saw that box was when mom was moving it to the shed. while me and Tylis sulked at the fact that he was leaving Aidyn seemed to try and lighten the mood, it was almost like he didn't know his brother was going to the military tommorow, it's almost like he wanted him to leave. Now he took us both by the arm and dragged us through the house and out the back door.

Our house was on the top of a hill by a forest and the shed was in the forest. Aidyn finally let go of our arms and let us walk without his help his grip is strong I can't even begin to imagine what his older brothers grip would be like, you would think after all the years we were friends he would have at least shaken my hand, the older boy standing next to me was mysterious and never layed a hand on me not like his brother who touches me all the time he was just holding my arm

I was only four when I met this brotherly duo Tylis being older than my was much taller than I was at the time he was nine when we first met but Aidyn was four like me. our mothers were already friends and after the unspeakable incident mom decided that i needed someone to talk to that's where they came in. Tylis was still a mystery at that time he never changed as he got older his dark brown eyes always seem to stare with a great intensity, and he always seemed to have messy black hair almost like he never washed it once in his life. He always showed a great deal of respect for our family when we first stepped in front of each other he bowed instead of shaking my hand he had always valued respect over everything, and now it seemed like he was going to earn the respect he was yearning for by going to the military.

We walked closer to the shed, we made sure to walk slowly as though the shed was hazardous. The door creaked when we opened it, it was a eerie sound that echoed throughout the building. The inside of the building was way bigger than how it appeared on the outside, of course there were no sources of light so we would just have to walk around blind using our hands to feel out what we are looking for. My thoughts seemed to reach Tylis because as soon as he stepped in he pulled out a large candle and a match box, he took out a match and carefully swiped it on the back of the box. only a small light was produced from the light Tylis already knew that I'm guessing that's why he brought the candle. as soon as the fire left the match and extended its grounds to the candle it got a lot brighter. Thanks Ty Aidyn said loudly, it echoed through the shack. Thank you I said softly, Tylis only nodded never speaking a word he's still thinking about what is to come apparently my distraction wasn't big enough to fool Tylis' s big mind.

There was no sound besides the creaking of the floor boards and Aidyn who was humming a little tune, no one talked. We walked on in this suffocating silence until we reached the back room. Ok you too are obviously not going to have fun until we solve this problem so let's talk it out Aidyn said. Sit he commanded us, we reluctantly slid down to the dusty floor.

So Blake what are you thinking about he asked. He knows what he just did, he just started a long conversation about my feelings. Even though my eyes were glued to the floor I could tell Aidyn was smiling his smile was burning a whole through my head. It's almost like he said, open says me and my mind opened to him through my words.

Tylis is leaving I said bluntly. Suddenly it all came pouring put not in tears but in flames. I can't believe your just leaving us like this why just why you know how that makes us feel you could die out there I yelled at him. Aidyn seemed satisfied with my emotional answer, he smirk and hugged me to his chest. If I wasn't crying my eyes out right now I would have pushed him away, I don't usaually seek emotional assistance but I guess this time is special so I let Aidyn pat my back and tell me that everything gonna be ok.

I finally pull away from him, I'm fine now I say and he backs off, he knows I'm not lying. Can we just get back to searching for the scrapbook I spat. They both nod because they both know, the bucketful of water that just came from my eyes was only the beginning and if we don't find a distraction soon the dam will break agian and who knows if I will be able to control it agian.

We get up from the dirty floor and start to look around, Tylis supplying the light, the burning candle wax was running down his hand but he didn't seem to notice it burning his skin, it's almost like he can't feel pain of any kind emotionally or physically. Hey I found the box Aidyn calls. I walk over to where he is standing and sure enough he is loaming over a trunk like box with a scrap book inside, and something else.

In the box is our family scrap book but also two bueatiful necklaces both look very expensive. One of them looks like it could be worn by the main queen herself, it had a long row of dimands and some purple gem I don't know the name of but I'm sure it's rare. The other one was less extravagant but still luxurious, it had a nice royal blue gem in the middle surrounded by what could only be pearls it was all held together by a metal chain. Pearls are just as rare as diamonds maybe even more rare, not even the royals wear pearls so when I see two pearls on this necklace I am utterly perplexed. I pick up the one with pearls on it and examined it thoroughly. I've never seen these before I said. I bet they were stolen Aidyn says. My mom doesn't steal I spat. Either way I bet we can sell them for a fortune Aidyn said. No Tylis says dropping the candle in what I can only belive is shock.

The flame caught on the wood floors and walls and the fire spread, it ate up all our surroundings until we were sourounded by fire.

Quick Blake do the thing Aidyn said hanging on to my arm. Taking a deap breath I hold out my hands I start to concentrate. I feel it pulsing through my veins, it's hard to control so it comes out all at once but it still does the job. a black force field was placed on the shack containing the fire and extinguishing it.

You Dufus I say hitting Tylis on the arm.
