"Okay but honestly, ya nails loong as hell." V commented while eating cereal.

I glared at her slightly. "At least they're blue and sparkly." I whisper while drying my hair.

V was over because she usually likes eating in my house before we go to school. Which means I have to wake up earlier and let her ass inside.

Also, I don't take showers in the morning but I didn't take one last night so I did so this morning.

"Do you think you made it to the second round of auditions?" V suddenly asked as I was getting out milk and cereal.

I paused. "Honestly speaking, I wished I used better songs. If I did get in, I'd be so damn lucky." I concluded with popping a spoon full of cereal in my mouth. I continue to munch on my said cereal as I continue to dry my hair.

"Even if you didn't like your song choices, that doesn't matter. What does matter is you get to the second round of auditions. And when- " "If." I corrected. "WHEN you pass the second round of auditions, you'll be a trainee and maybe after a couple of months or years, you'll debut!" V excitedly announces as she finishes her breakfast.

I sigh, "Whatever you say, V." I munch more of my breakfast as I look at my kitchen's counter top. V places her hands on my shoulders and turns me to face her.

"Hey, what happened to the girl who wanted to make her friends and family proud of her? You can't think of losing when there are thousands of other people who are less talented than you. " "Come on V, that was a little rude." "But I didn't say who exactly."

She has a point I guess. I sigh deeply, finish my cereal, and grabbed my jacket.

"Alright I get it. Be confident. And go buy some Starbucks." V facepalms while I giggle. I call my cousin, brother, and aunt, telling them that we're ready.

"We all ready?" A chorus of yes and yeahs were said. We all piled into the car. Aunt driving, cousin in front, brother on the left, me in the middle, and V on the right.

"Auntie can we get some Starbucks real quick?" I asked not bothering to buckle my seatbelt.

"Starbucks?" Both my aunt and cousin question. I nod, "I've been craving it for a while now but I haven't gotten anytime to get some." I answer, sitting back as my aunt starts driving.

"Are you gonna buy me a coffee?" My aunt playfully asks. I roll my eyes playfully as well. "Yea, yea, I... almost always do." I smile. We both laugh and I turn to V to see if she wants anything.

"Can you get me some of that lemon cake thing." I nodded, reminding myself to buy some for me as well.

We arrived at Starbucks, I get out of the car, along with my aunt, and we go inside.

Once inside, we're both greeted by the strong smell of coffee. I hummed, happy to be in an environment so warm and so full of the scent of delicious coffee.

We get in line and talked about random things. My aunt asks about my audition and I asked about any stories from her client.

My aunt is one of those people who care for the old in their house. So it's either Wednesday or Thursday is when she leaves and comes back on Sunday. Today's Tuesday so, ya girl's gonna rest.

We're next to order and I just now look at the person in front of us.

'He looks oddly familiar.' I question myself on who that is but I can't seem to put my finger on who he is.

I shrugged my shoulders and walked up the the cashier, along with my aunt, and we explain our orders.

We stand near the door and continued talking about whatever. I kept eyeing the boy from earlier. 'Seriously he looks so familiar.'

"Caramel and Triple Mocha Frap for.. uhh.. Haechan?" My eyes widen. I continue to stare at the boy to see if it was actually Haechan of NCT.

He gets up and walks to get his drinks. 'Holy shit! I must be going insane.' Once he grabs his drinks, he says thanks and turns to leave. When he does, we suddenly made eye contact. I tried to look away but, as cliche as it fricking sounds, I couldn't.

He looks at me for a little, before turning his head. But I could still see that hint of shock in his eyes. I guess he didn't expect to see a NCTZEN here then.

I mean, he could've easily been spotted since he only wore a face mask, a cap, and a hoodie..

Typical "trying not to get seen" disguises.

But I could tell it was him by the shape of his eyes. Weird yes, but as a kpop stan, it's normal.

"Why you checking out that guy?" My aunt questions, smirking. I hit her arm softly, denying that I was doing such a thing. She laughs and say whatever.

I pouted slightly and huffed. "One triple mocha frap, an iced americano, and two slices of lemon cakes for Kate." My eyes brighten at the mention of my name.

We grabbed our drinks and snacks, not forgetting to say thank you, and headed back to the car.

I knocked on V's side of the car, signaling for her to open it. I moved a little and she comes out. I gave her her lemon cake, also telling her that I also had a cake for myself as well. I get into the car and get comfy. V gets back in and closes the door. And we are back to our adventure to the school.

After about 7 minutes later, we arrive at school.

"oof, we're quite early." My brother says as he gets out of the car. I nodded, not really caring if we're early.

We get out of the car, grabbed out backpacks, and waved to my aunt. I sipped my frap and walked to my locker with V by my side.

"Kate." I look to my side where V is and she makes a grabby motion with her hand. I hand her my frap and she takes a sip. It's normal. Best friends do it all the time.
