1.3 Saving Jade's Play Pt 2

At school, I was by Jade's locker, watching as she organized it.

"Hey Jade, Aurora." Singin greeted as he approached us.

We both just glanced at him.

"I was working on the set dressing for the interior of the well, and I found two different types of moss." He happened to hold both in his hands.

"They look like your hair." Jade said before going back to her locker.

"Thanks. This one is called Kentucky Red Moss and this one is-"

Jade cut him off by yelling go.

I sighed and rubbed Jade's shoulder. "You know it's not that bad right?"

"My father already hates me." Jade sighed.

"Personally, I would say screw your father, but it's not my choice. Look, if your father doesn't support your dreams, and I know this sound blunt and rude, but forget him. You only need people who empower you, not being you down. Family or not." I comforted Jade before Tori came over. "Later amica." I winked at Jade before turning to head towards English.

Later that night, we were at Tori's house, playing a card game.

"And then?" Beck asked as Tori was replaying what happened between her and Jade.

"She thanked me for ruining her life."

"At least she thank you." Andre stated.

"Gimme one." Beck said as he slammed a card down in the middle of the table.

"Two." Tori said.

"What's Trina doing?" Robbie asked and that caused everyone to glance back at Trina.

"I'm putting avocado on my face to give it a natural glow." She said, as if it was obvious.

"I use male makeup." Robbie shared enthusiastically.

"You probably should tell people that." I suggested to Robbie while looking at him weirdly.

"Wait, Jade's dad is only come to the play the first night, right?" Cat asked.

Everyone let out agreements.

"So then why don't we just do it the way she wrote it for that one night?" Cat suggest.

"Because Mrs. Lee is gonna be there, and she wants it done her way." Tori explained.

"But what if she's not there?" Cat suggested with a look.

"I think Cat just said something pretty smart." Andre commented.

"Sorry." Cat apologized.

I grabbed her hand. "Hey, don't ever apologize for being smart. It's good." I gave her a smile.

"Kk." She said back with a huge smile.

"Come on, come on, come on. How do we keep Ms. Lee from going to the play on open wing night?"

Everyone was lost in thought.

Cat suddenly gasped. "Bingo!"

"What you got a plan?" Beck asked her.

"No, I don't like this game I want to play bingo."

"But I do." I said with a smirk. "You said that the lady was really into celebrities right?"

"Yeaaa."

Andre caught my drift. "If a celebrity walked into her restaurant right before the play started..." he trailed off.
