Chapter 14: First Encounter

"Hey there (Y/N)-chan! Haven't seen you in a while!" That was that girl, which "pleasing" speech almost made me lose my appetite!! "I see you are still wandering around in this school, hmm~?" Her voice ringed through the corridor, which was strangely empty.

"Who are you supposed to be?" I say, trying to keep my cool, acting like a fool.

"Well, you'll soon find out~. I will give you one week to satisfy yourself with your beloved one and after that time has run out, I will make sure that this time your memories will be erased to the tiniest bit."

"WAIT DOES THIS MEAN THAT YOU-" A sudden breeze comes out of nowhere and after just the blink of an eye the girl has already disappeared into the unknown."-are the seventh witch..."

I feel my eyes starting to tear, God what does one week mean?! And my memories? To be erased again?! I can not let this happen. It has been so little since I've met Toranosuke.
As I feel the first tear rolling down my face I make my way through the corridor, searching for some known faces. The tears roll down my face and would not stop, but inside I am a hot mess. I feel so many feelings at one, that it is already hard to separate one from another. I feel all this anger, sadness, all the horror from losing my memories of everyone...
As I walk fastly down the stairs, deep into thoughts I trip and start falling. 'What a day!' Preparing for the encounter with the ground suddenly something catches me and my face is gently facing someone's shoulders. His hands are on both of my sides and because he is on a lower stair he lifts my body a little so I could be as close to him as possible. His hands quickly make their way up to my back, embracing me with endless love and tenderness. I close my eyes and trembling hug the person back.
"(Y/N) are you okey?? You seemed so scared and angry, has something happened?" The deep voice of Toranosuke (A/N for short Tora cause Imma lazy ass and it makes you two special ya know) rings trough my ears and echoes throughout my whole body. His emotions are so easy to understand, not only from his actions but from his intonation.

"I met her." I hardly say.
"Met who?" Now his voice is full with scare.
"Her. The seventh witch." I gulp and try to keep my tears and surprisingly I succeed. (A/N or so you think sweetie) "She told me that I have only one week to 'satisfy' myself with my beloved one and that..that.." At this point I have already started crying hard and talking steady was an impossible task." that she w-will erase my memories..."
...
Silence. The only thing that was heard was my silent cry and sniffs, which I tbh didn't expect. Then Tora hugged me harder he lifted my face and what I saw...what I saw made me feel so, so incredibly sad. Tora had also teared up and some tears were already rolling down his beautiful face. He had a painful smile decorating his sad eyes. He felt the same as me...
"(Y/N) I promise you that we will catch that witch and our memories will never ever be erased again. I promise." He closes his eyes and so do I and soon our lips meet, giving us the opportunity to find comfort in each others love. The kiss recharges me, giving me strength to continue to continue, to fight. I will never again lose this person. He is the only one I love.
"I love you, Toranosuke." I whisper.
"I love you too, (Y/N), more than you could ever imagine." His lips leave mine and find their way to my ear then kiss it and whisper sweet nothings, making me forget about everything else. My hands play with his white and soft hair, my heart soothes itself, until I have fully regained my calmness.
I will find that witch and I am going to prevent her from ruining mine and someone else's lives.

It's time for payback.
