chapter seven

Lucas sits down on his bed, throwing his phone on the pillow. He should be getting some sleep, since he has things that he needs to do tomorrow, but he couldn't without asking someone. 

He starts with texting the dreamie groupchat, informing them of what Jaemin said, but they simply responded with more questions. They don't know anything, and of course Jaemin won't answer texts or calls. He ends up texting Jaehyun, knowing that he was somewhat close with her.

sorry to text you this late
and youre probably asleep
but do you have any information on suyeon?

jaehyun
its fine. im up because of what happened too
and jaemin didn't tell you?

lucas
what? no
jaemin won't tell any of us
i tried texting suyeon too, but then jaemin answered on her phone
he told us to stop texting her
since the situation was bad or something

jaehyun

i was texting suyeon a few minutes ago though

what happened to her
and who told you what happened?

well, suyeon was supposed to tell me how her date was, but never responded to that text
jaemin eventually called me from his phone, telling me about it because she was in tears
but anyway, her boyfriend Jinyoung came to pick her up for their date
yesterday was their anniversary of two years, and he took her to a fancy restaurant
halfway through the meal, he got up, saying he got a phone call and that it was important, so he left the table
she didn't think anything of it. until twenty minutes passed

please dont tell me what i think is going to happen

jaehyun
well
she got up to go find him
she walked around the huge restaurant
she even waited outside the bathroom
then she returned to the table in case he was there, but he wasnt
at that point almost 40 minutes went by
she went outside to look for him
he wasn't there
and his car was gone

yeah..
she called him, many times
but he didn't answer her calls
so she called Jinyoung's best friend, Daehwi
she barely knew him, but it was worth a shot
she asked daehwi where jinyoung was
after a few times of asking, daehwi said that jinyoung was out
when she asked where, he said that he was at the amusement park
with his girlfriend
and when she asked who his girlfriend was...
he said lee areum

sigh...i know
she thought that maybe areum was her nickname or something?
idk i guess she was in shock
but daehwi was asking her why she was asking
she told him the scenario, about their anniversary and the restaurant
daehwi said that jinyoung told him that he broke up with suyeon when school ended, which was two months ago

what's his last name?

no, but jaemin does
his last name is "bae"
