"TAEYONG SAID HE'LL TAKE US OUT TO DINNER IF WE HELP FIND LUCAS!" Donghyuck screams, walking into the practice room. Everyone immediately stops their conversation at the noise. 

Mark quickly yanks his arm, pulling him to the floor.  "Are you out of your mind?"

Donghyuck stares at him, confused.

"We can't all just turn on Lucas like that," Mark says. 

"He's right," Chenle says, from the edge of the circle. All the dreamies are sitting together, trying to figure out what to do. 

Jaemin rolls his eyes. "Ohhh, I see. So you want me to cover for someone who broke the rules?"

"U-Um, to be fair hyung, you also broke the rules," Jisung says, quietly.

"No, we all did," Mark says, grimly. "But that's not the point. Lucas is just a little blindsided right now. We just need to help him get back on track. "

He looks at Jaemin. "All of us." Jaemin just scoffs.

Renjun plays with his hat, eyeing Jaemin. "Okay, seriously, what's wrong with you? We let Suyeon stay in the chat, Lucas brought her over to hang out. Taeyong found out everything and we got our phones taken away. So, yeah, we made some mistakes, but we learn from them. Yet, why are you the only one reacting like this?"

"Why am I reacting like this?" Jaemin repeats, amused. He starts counting off reasons on his fingers. "One, my best friend is off with someone she barely knows. Two, I've liked her for years, and then Lucas forced his way in the picture. Now I can't erase him from it. Three, we're all sitting here getting punished, when Lucas is running free because apparently the rules don't apply to him.  And after what happened with her ex, now that I don't have my phone, I can't even do a thing. I hate--"

"Woah woah, Jaemin," Mark says firmly, holding up a hand. "Do you hear yourself right now? Just calm down. C'mon, you're better than this. There's no reason to get all worked up. Don't tear this group apart for a girl. This is exactly why we tried to remove her from the chat."

Jaemin nods. "You know what? You're right. Letting her stay was the worst decision I ever made."

Then he stands up, storming out. "I should've never let her stay in the stupid chat."
