Emma

The outside world was a beautiful place to be. I was sitting on the bench awaiting Killian's arrival. I didn't mind that he was taking quite sometime. Right now I'm just enjoying the time I have out here. There was a beautiful garden surrounding the area, filled with many different types of flowers. It was so colorful.

These types of hints made me forget about the world inside my head. It made me forget many things which I was grateful for. It wasn't just the flowers that seemed to calm my being. It was outside in general. Feeling the warmth of the sun, the light breeze passing through while everything moves swiftly along with it.

It made me feel content. It's like I finally felt human. That's a rare feeling. I was surprised with myself even.

Sometimes I wished I had more freedom. Coming out here was a privilege. I didn't think I would be able to come out here without Killian. He was a sweet guy. I'm glad I got him than anyone else because who knows where that would go.

I sighed wondered why Killian was taking quite some time. But then again I didn't mind it gave me more time to appreciate the sight before me.

As I began looking around I noticed a rose bush near the water fountain. My curiosity grew and I stood up to get a closer look at the beautiful roses.

I reached out to feel the softness within the petal. As my fingertips brushed the petal an image appeared in my eyes. It was my hand with the same rose while twirling it. I blinked to see the rose was still in the bush.

That was weird.

I brushed the thoughts aside and began to sit back down knowing I have such little time left to enjoy the freshness of the outside world.

No worries about anything, and thoughts of the darkness lingering within.
