I change my look
but still you look at me the same
I change my attitude
but you still treat me the same
I change everything about myself
and still I'm not good enough for you
Why?
Is your ego so high I'll have to climb a mountain to get to you?
I look at you and my world brightens up
You make me feel a way I never thought I could
But still
You look at me and it's like your life has turned grey
I just wish that you'd man up and say
Just say what you were thinking
And stop playing this stupid game
Because I'm close to giving up on this whole thing
I thought you were special
Someone to keep close
But now I'm finding out you're the devil in angels clothes
