EVERYONE STOOD in deep silence as they gathered by the port, the war had came into a final end. Of course, no lives were taken; only few minor injuries.
The sun had just rised in its radiant canvas of colours, calling the citizens for the victory and freedom of Awa. Bad deeds had finally sunken down to the bottom of the sea.
However, while the locals prepared themselves for a celebration. The crew and their captain stayed put, only eyeing on one thing. Just one thing.
I feel molested. You avert your gaze, just by their eyes.
"I would have never thought." Gi–Gang broke the tension, taking a heavy smoke from her pipe, "That you were the king of the ocean. Or how they described you."
"I would be honoured to have such title, Gi–Gang. But I am not close to that." You replied, "I can only manipulate elements. The four elements of the physical universe. Such as the fire, water, air and earth."
Yona clamped her chapped lips as you spoke, "You can manipulate those?" Her amethyst orbs glimmer in delight as you nod.
"It's almost like YN."
"Princess, not this again." Yun grunts.
"But–"
"I don't want to mix his name with hers."
"That's a gifted ability you have there." The captain compliment, "Thanks to you, the useless green–head didn't swim along down to the bed of this sea."
"You know, captain. I can hear you." The mentioned individual meekly wave from behind as he tried to get her attention.
"Well, either way. I would be lying if I said, you did well. You did much than that. You have my respect, Yren." A smile lift your lips as her graceful words hits you but stilled in your tracks as she corrected her mistake.
"Ah. Or should I say, YN?"
Shit. Everyone snapped their heads towards your direction as the old snitch plastered a victorious smile, "How long are you planning to keep your identity a secret? The others are already beyond their limits. Especially those three."
You knew exactly who she was directing to, "I was planning to but–"
"Your necklace? I already had the strap made." To prove her words, you swiftly caught the said item as she tossed it. The others squint to see the object, "You dropped it when you left early."
I totally forgot. You anxiously laughed, "Thanks, old–"
In that spur seconds, you ducked as you grasped an object flying towards your head, "It's dangerous for elders to throw knives, Gi–Gang."
"Consider it warning."
As the captain take her leave, the others resumed to cheer their victorious fight while specific others stayed behind. Of course, you can already tell their reactions based on the aura they're exposing.
"Is it true?"
The princess questioned again, "Is it true that you're YN?"
"Yeah."
You gasped as you felt small arms engulfing you in a warm embrace, "I'm glad! I'm glad that you're her."
"I should have trusted my instincts." Kija blurted, taking you and the royal princess by surprise, "I should have believed what my heart was telling when I saw you."
