Chapter 15 – I don’t want much. Just your hugs, kisses, and you.

“Do you want me to slap you, bitch?”

“Yes.”

“What’s your problem?!”

“Obviously, you.”

Kim snorted, crossing her arms over her chest and glaring at the ground. “Whatever. Go die all alone in a hole, please.”

Tasha grinned victoriously, throwing her arms up in the air in victory. “I’ll take that as a win,” She giggled, dropping her arms and touching my hair gently.

They’ve been arguing about how I should do my hair for my date tonight for the past twenty minutes. I wish I was kidding, but I swear they almost got into a fist fight at least three times.

I bit my lip hard, looking at Tasha and Kim in the mirror. I didn’t want to say anything offense just in case they’re still feeling violent and angry. They’re very scary when they’re angry, trust me. “Soooooo,”

“We’re going to curl your hair,” Tasha informed me, plugging in my curler and turning it on. “Then I’m going to have her,” She paused, jutting her thumb behind her where Kim was. “do your make-up.”

I simply nodded, not wanting to argue with either of the twins. The curler beeped twice, meaning that it was ready for use and Tasha got to work on curling my hair.

(Oliver’s Point of View)

“You don’t think it’s too much, right?” Linx asked quietly, looking at herself in her full-length mirror for the millionth time in the last ten minutes.

“You look beautiful, Linx,” I began, a smile on my face. “And I can guarantee that Rex will think the same thing.” I said honestly, sitting comfortablely on her bed.. She really did look beautiful.

Her jet-black hair was curled and cupped her heart-shaped face perfectly. She wore a flowing pale purple dress that made her legs look long and not as pale. With her dress, she had black combat boots and a black jacket. Oddly enough, her bright emerald eyes shone brightly because of the dark eye make-up.

She looked over at me, worry in her bright eyes. “But what if he’s like ‘Look at this bitch. Getting all dressed up for no fucking reason!’” She exclaimed, throwing her hands up in frustration.

I started laughing, hard. She glared at me, smacking me over the back of the head, but I continued laughing. When my laughs died down, I spoke. “Dear god, Linx, first, Rex would never, ever say that. Second, he’s going to take one look at you and say that you look beautiful.”

She groaned, looking back at the mirror and fixing her bangs slightly. “You lie.” I rolled my eyes, shaking my head and checking the time.

“Hey, the date’s at eight, right?” I asked, making her nod and look at me curiously. “Then you need to get out of here or you’re going to be late.”

“But, Oliver,” She whined, stomping her foot like a child. “I look terrible.”

“Shut the hell up,” I snapped, standing up and pushing her gently to the door. “Just go, you look amazing and you’re going to break his tiny, little heart if you stand him up.”

Her emerald green eyes widened and she squeaked, running out of the room quickly and rushing downstairs. Rex and Linx were meeting at a fancy restaurant closer to town and I knew Rex would have a few surprises in store for her.
