Chapter 5

=Hayes' POV=

I hate myself.

I should have been able to stop myself, but I couldn't.

I hear little knocks at the door.

" Go away and let me die." I said glumly

"Hayes please it's Chloe open up please we need to talk." I heard a small voice mumble

I quickly ran to get the door.

I opened it and saw her face. I felt so guilty she had a HUGE bruise on her eye and it is quite noticeable.

"Chloe I..." I started before she it me off

"It's okay" she said while engulfing me in a huge hug.

- Chloe's POV -

About 5 minutes later I decided that we should go back to my house. Hayes was thinking that Shawn wouldn't allow it but I assured him it was okay.

When we got there we were both very timid to go in.

We walked in and Shawn immediately stood up and came over to us.

" Chloe, what is he doing here! " Shawn yelled angrily

"I told both of you that he couldn't come back here! Now you disobey my rules! " Shawn said

" With all respect Shawn you can't tell us what we can and can't do. " Hayes said calmly still trying to get his point across

Shawn looked at him with a disgusted look on his face.

Suddenly then he punched him. Hayes stumbled backwards and fell to the ground.

Shawn started yelling and yelling at him and Hayes just took it. I could do anything to stop it.

"STOP!" I finally yelled

They both looked at me.

" I'm tired of all of this fighting! Hayes is my best friend and he didn't know what he was doing and so I forgave him because I don't like to hold grudges with people I love, and certainly you dot love me if your going against me like this! Stay out of my life because you always interfere with it!" I yelled to Shawn

He looked heartbroken.

He stormed upstairs and I heard his door slam.

"You can stay at my house if you want?" Hayes said

"Please" I said tears streaming down my face

I went up to my room to pack some of my clothes and there was a letter on my bed it said

" Chloe we are very sorry for the short notice but I had to leave for a 2 year business trip in London. I have left you and Shawn $50,000 and if you need more just ask. Shawn already knows but you weren't there. I love you sweety!

Mom "

Hayes read it to and said "I'm sorry"

"Eh you get use to it. Everyone leaves entually." I said

"Are you ready?" He asked

"Yup" I said grabbing 1,000$ of the money they gave me

)Hayes POV(

I feel so guilty. Nash and Shawn are best friends so I wonder what he will say about this I mean we are 15 we can handle our selfs.

We got to my house and my mom said that she was welcome to stay here but she trusted me not to do any funny business.

We got upstairs and I could tell she was on the verge of crying. Almost on cue Nash walked out of his room.

"Heyy Chloe! Why do you have a bag? Where is Shawn? Are you okay?" he asked

I was motioning at him to stop but Chloe broke down into tears.

"I will tell you later just don't tell Shawn she is here okay?" I whispered

"Okay." he said while going down stairs

I was trying to comfort Chloe but it wasn't working. It was like she just needed to get it all out, so I let her and all I could do was rub her back and hold her.
