Chloe finally fell asleep after an hour of her crying, not that I'm complaining about it I just don't like to see her hurt or unhappy.
I walked downstairs to see Nash sitting on the couch with a very worried look on his face.
"Bro, what happened? Is everything okay?" he asked
I explained everything to him and he decided to go over to their house. Alone.
\Nash's POV/
I can't believe it.
I feel so guilty now for asking her. Shawn is basically my best friend so Chloe is like a little sister to me and it kills me to see her like this all because of my brother. I don't blame Hayes for it I mean he couldn't control it but I need to talk to Shawn and make sure he is alright.
I walk up to their house since it is only 3 houses down.
I knock on the door and say "Shawn buddy it's me Nash, you gotta open up! We have to talk!" I said just a little loud.
I heard small footsteps come to the door and see Shawn. His eyes are blood shot probably from crying, he looked pale and his fist was bleeding.
"Shawn dude what happened to your hand?" I asked worriedly
"Nothing."he said with his voice cracking
We walk into the house and I didn't know what to say.
"I'm sorry" I mumbled
He just started breaking down.
"SHE HATES ME NASH! DONT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT! ITS MY JOB TO MAKE SURE SHE IS OKAY AND IVE FAILED AT THAT! IT WAS MY JOB TO PROTECT HER AND IVE LET HER HATE ME NOW! I'm never getting her back." he yelled
I stood there speechless. What was I even supposed to say.
"Shawn, man I'm really sorry I just want to let you know that she is safe okay. She is at my house got it?" I said
"Ya" he mumbled
"Hey if you want I could come stay with you until this whole thing blows over so your not lonely." I suggested
"Please" he said
