~The Coffee Date~
(Lindsey POV)
"Coffee girl! I knew you'd end up calling me. I mean have you seen me? Who wouldn't call?" I let out a small laugh imagining him in my head and his broad, muscular figure.
"How'd you know it was me? You don't even know my name." He smirked at her comment finishing the conversation with "Well how about we get to know each other a little better? Meet me at the Coffee shop after you get off work?"
"Sounds like a plan." I replied after thinking about our encounter this morning with a simple cup of coffee. "Hey, wait a second I didn't catch your name gorgeous." I blushed at his comment and replied with "You'll just have to find that out when we meet up later, for now, you wait."
"Oh, Coffee girl has a mystery side in her, I admire that in a woman." I smirked and let out a quiet laugh at his remark. "See you later then?"
"You can count on it gorgeous." With that last comment he hung up, and I couldn't help but let out a small scream at the fact that I will only be seeing my mystery man in a few hours.....
*Flash Forward*
(Vin POV)
"Baby please! You can't leave me now! I love you so much, don't give out on me baby, please just stay with me." I shook her body once more but I still had no response. I felt a tear slip out of my eye as I remembered our first date....
*Flash back*
(Lindsey POV)
As soon as I finally found an outfit that the stranger might like, I made my way to the coffee shop but no sign of the man inside. "Did he seriously stand me up?" I mumbled a little too loud because as soon as I said it I felt a tap on my shoulder.
Quickly turning around to apologize my face became parallel to a familiar toned chest that I only saw this morning. "What's the matter coffee girl? Cat got your tongue?" I immediately snapped my gaze towards his eyes so he wouldn't laugh anymore at my staring.
"My name is Vin by the way, now will you please tell me your name? I couldn't help but think about you all day, hoping to see your beautiful smile once again." He finished this statement with a blush, as did I as I offered his hand to shake.
"I'm Lindsey, and I just wanted to say that I've been thinking about you too." I finished my comment with a smile that I knew for sure he would like, as I sat down at a table.
After discussing what we do for a living, me working at a video game development office, while he works at a garage down the road from my house. Talking about how crazy our families are, and even discussed his role in the military.
"Can I ask you a question?" I asked quietly with my head down. "Are you okay? Yeah, ask away." He finished his statement with concerned eyes. "I'm fine, I just wanted to ask how you knew you'd meet me today..."
"To be honest? I had no idea." He smirked at what he said but my face turned into a frown and I snapped.
"So what, you just do this to all the girls you run into that spill coffee all over your freaky hot muscular body?! How many other coffee girls do you have? Because I'm sure there're more than me!! You know, you really had me falling for you what with your gorgeous brown eyes, your stubble, and your hot body but you are no where near being my Prince Charming!! I'm sorry I ran into you this morning but I can't take this..."
I could tell he was going to say something but I wouldn't have it and just ran home, but the best part is, he has a garage down the road from me.. How perfect is that, now I can see a hot douchebag every time I go to work!
*Same flashback*
(Vin POV)
After she left I couldn't think straight. She likes me and I didn't even get to explain at all. I lost a girl I never got to go on an actual date with! I need to see her again, she does live near the garage, maybe I can just ask around for her? She wants a Prince Charming, and I'm going to give her one....
*This one I feel was longer than the last one, but I hope you enjoyed it! Next chapter will be better! I'll try to update soon!*
