(Vin POV)

As soon as I got to the garage, late of course, I ran to the back to change into my coveralls, only to be caught taking off my shirt by Michelle.

"Dang man, did you get attacked with a rake?!" she asked with a laugh apparent in her voice. "What are you talking about?" I asked with total confusion at what she was saying. She pushed me toward the mirror in the back room and turned me around so my back was facing the mirror and sure enough found deep scratch marks all over my back.

"I don't think you want me to answer that." I said with a laugh as she slowly caught on to what I meant. "She seriously did that to you?!? Holy shit man, did you hurt her?!" her jaw dropped when her eyes grazed over my back and all the deep ridges from my neck to my lower back.

"I would never hurt her, just like when I said I would never hurt you either." I felt my voice drop an octave with seriousness apparent in my voice. Michelle shook her head in approval and understanding, then went back to work.

~Lunch Break~

(Lindsey POV)

I rolled over on the couch and buried my head into Sadie's back still set on sleeping with my baby girl, until I heard my phone ring.

"Hello?" I asked with a whisper as I felt myself start to doze once again. "Are you sleeping?" the stranger asked since I didn't even bother to check to see who was calling. "Yes, well I was. Who is this?" I felt myself getting annoyed with the fact that I was woken up. "It's Michelle, get your lazy ass up and come to the garage." She said with a laugh as I groaned.

"What's so important that you can't get up and see me? Wait, are you laying with Sadie and watching SVU re-runs just so you can see Stabler shirtless?" She asked with a laugh as I got up from the couch. "Well not anymore since I'm obviously coming to see you!" I snapped back at her making us both laugh as I went upstairs to get Sadie's leash, my wallet and house keys.

Since the garage is only a few blocks away, I decided to take Sadie for a walk for both of us to get some exercise for once. Finally reaching the garage, I took Sadie off her leash and she immediately went running around inside looking for Michelle. However when Michelle came to me alone I was confused as of to where Sadie went but slowly faded when we sat down to eat lunch on the hood of her car.

"Still watching SVU just to see Stabler shirtless? Obviously you are still boyfriendless." She said with a laugh as I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Actually no, I do have a boyfriend and you will meet him soon enough." her jaw dropped at what I said. "Why didn't you tell me?!" she yelled making everyone stop working and look at us. "Just drop it, you'll meet him soon." I said with a laugh as she rolled her eyes.

"You really should meet my coworker, just the other night he slept with this girl that I guess is his girlfriend now and she like tore up his back." we both laughed but she eventually stopped and got serious once again. "I can't believe you didn't tell me!" she slugged me in the arm and I made a fake scream of pain that left us both laughing until Sadie ran back hearing me scream with Vin running behind her.

He stopped in front of me and smiled leaning in for a kiss with Michelle looking shocked at the scene in front of her. "Holy shit! You're the one that tore up his back?!" she asked with disbelief as Vin slipped off his coveralls to show me his back. I leaned in and kissed the scratches on his back making him flinch at the contact on his wounds.

I looked back at Michelle and laughed. "Yeah, I guess I did do that." I said as I started to blush and look away from them. "Wait, you know Michelle?" Vin asked with a clueless expression on his face. "Well obviously, we've been friends forever." I said with a smile as I looked over at Michelle.

"Well this is too much excitement for me today, I think I'm going to get back to work." Michelle finished with giving me a hug and Sadie a kiss on the nose then walking back off to her next project.

Vin glanced back at me and a smile spread across his face. "So Princess, what now?" I smiled back at him and wrapped my arms around his waist and looked up at him. "Well, I'm pretty sure you need to work, but I think I might go home and feed Sadie girl." He frowned and brushed the hair out of my face. "Or you can stay here with me until I get off work because I'm closing tonight and will have the whole garage to myself." He finished with a suggestive smirk that made me laugh. "Fine, but can I go home and change first?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.

"Fine, but be quick." I laughed at his words which made him confused. "What's so funny?" He asked as a smile spread across his face. "That's what she said." I stumbled over my words with the laughter spilling out. He pushed me outside with Sadie in tow, "What a perv." he mumbled as he went back to work thinking about tonight.
