Steve gave everyone their plate and everyone began serving themselves. "Sorry That we're eating this late.." Thor chuckled "No worries brother anytime is swell when it's your cooking." replying with a smile. "Oh by the way has anyone seen y/n?" Tony said fixing himself a plate. Bruce pulled up his chair. "Y/n said she/he was gonna go sleep for a bit.." He said sipping his water. "Well She's/He's gotta eat." Clint said "I'll go get her/him.." He said walking of He knocked on your door upon seeing you sprawled on you bed. He chuckled. Without warning you opened your eyes tackling him.
"Uh! Wha! Y/n it's me!" He said wide eyed "O-oh..My bad.." You sighed "Tony wanted you to eat!"
You stood offering your hand pulling him up without ease. You walked stretching your arms. "Morning.." You walked grabbing a plate. Steve eyed you "y/n I thought I told you if you feel any different to come and tell us.."
You poured yourself a big portion of food on your plate.
"Ah relax it was just a nap.." You said scarfing down onto the food taking big bites and gulping some of it down very quick along with slurping your drink fast and continue eating earning a eyed looks from them at the table.
"My you must have dreamed up an appetite." Thor laughed seeing your empty plate within seconds. Earning big grin from him usually he's the first one to scarf food always being the first to finish only now to see you beat him to it.
"Hey fuzzball I forgot to tell you tomorrow just to be sure we're gonna go see a Doctor tomorrow to see what he has to say about this DNA change."
You continued walking giving him a thumbs up closing your door. It was silence at the table till Clint broke it. "Sooo...Is anyone gonna say it?." He played with his fork "I knew something was off.." Steve said Bucky looking at him.
"Really what gave you that impression her/his eating or her/his I don't really give a shit attitude.." Tony said Sipping his drink. Steve sighed
"I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her/him tonight than...Incase.." They nodded. "You want some help with that?" Bucky asked his fingers tracing the clear cup.
"This is actually a good thing for us...We can find out if she/he's going under any changes maybe not physically...but mentally.." Tony pointing at Steve.
"What the hell does that mean..?...No experiments!" Bruce said twirling his fork. Steve eyeing him.
"No but listen This is good for her/him because-"
"Because Steve can a be Lab Rat?" Bucky said eyeing Tony.
"No Listen think about it remember what Turkisha said back at the warehouse? He said that y/n was attached to cap this could be good think about it!."
He said raising his voice but in a soft calm tone to where only them at the table could hear. Steve placed his palm on his chin "I..I mean it's actually a good idea..No a plan..Let's do it." He said. "Steve you should think about it a little more what..What if she/he attacks you again?" Natasha said Steve nodded
"I know but...Me and Bucky talked about it with her/him..I don't know why..But I just feel like..I'll be safe..I'm sure of it...Tony let's get this plan started."
He grinned walking down into the lab with Tony following. "Wow Steve's really lost his marbles if he's trusting in a plan that's not his." Clint chuckled "Especially one that's Tony's .." Natasha smirked. ———-
"So if anything goes wrong just press this button and it'll alert me and the rest of the team." Tony handed him a button. Steve nodded
"Right but Im just not sure how we're gonna keep me and her/him contained.." Tony grinned
"Well that's what this lock is for I'm gonna plant it on y/n's doorway and it's gonna act like a magnet not allowing her/his metal door to slide open."
He grinned
"When exactly did you come up with this plan?" Steve chuckled Looking at the device. "Around lunchtime when I caught her/him in the Act of howling.." "Really now?" He smiled "Yeah it was a quiet one though but she/he sounded like a little puppy.." He grinned towards Steve laughing.
