Look through my eyes

It was now 11:24 Still stuck with Cap Since Tony's leave. You sighed "lighten up y/n at least your stuck in here with me.." "Yeah that's what I'm afraid of..What if I...hurt you again." You walked to your bathroom looking at yourself in the mirror examining your eyes.

"Y/n..It's not gonna happen..I don't know why but I don't feel scared or cautious around you I feel safe..completely fine really it's okay.." He smiled softly his tall figure behind you looking at you in the mirror his blue eyes meeting your own. You tilt your head back looking at him.

"Is that a promise?..Your not lying?" "No everyone kinda said to be cautious I don't even have my shield with me.." He grinned "Besides I know our puppy wouldn't hurt me huh!?" He said picking you up into a hug. "I hope not.." You said in his chest. Putting yourself down you grabbed your pillow holding it and Laying on the bed.

"Y/n you can't sleep remember?" He chuckled Sitting up you rubbed your eyes sitting there for a moment fighting your sleep. "....Steve?" "Hmm?" He said sitting against your closet door. "What was it like finding a home...for you I mean.." "Finding a home has a changed meaning..for me, Here is home the not area but the people, Thier my home.."

You looked out the window. "What about you?" There was a long silence "I don't know it's a long story and Well long night to sunrise then..and If we're staying up this late I'm changing into something more comfortable.." He nodded grabbing an unexpected duffle bag.. "I'll change in the bathroom." You chuckled

"Woah all of sudden you care about privacy considering you and Barnes just gave me a bath the other day..Ya know everyone was laughing at me cause my fur was all poofy I looked like a walking furby for God's sake..Plus I'm not that young to be a puppy." He laughed closing the door. You began to put on a white shirt and your boxers/Shorts etc. He opened the door Wearing a grey shirt and Black shorts.. He laid on your bed arms behind his neck closing one eye the other looking at you with Steve's grin "More on that subject I heard someone howls like one.." He smirked Tony outside the room chuckled While Bucky poured himself some juice. "What!? D-Did Tony tell you!?"

You pointed. He patted himself basically meaning to please come and lay beside him you yawned shifting into your wolf form laying half of yourself on Steve's chest along with your paws. "Can you howl?"  "Meh.." "Come on." Tony chuckled nudging Bucky "This'll be good" he whispered "No Steve.."

You whined digging your nose into him. "I'll do it." He grinned tilting his head "No come on-" Your ears perked up upon hearing Steve mimicking a wolf's howl though to you it sounded a whole lot better then yours. You puffed not wanting to give in twitching your ears softly whimpering. He again did it. This time for a bit longer it was mid deep sounding like a real wolf through a forest. You couldn't help but join in, you tilted your head back along with your ears, eyes closed you slightly stood with your front paws on Steve chest howling a bit up and down in vocals but not bad though it was a bit puppyish since you didn't know how to howl properly. Tony and Bucky we're smiling finding it amusing. Steve began to rub and scratch the sides of your face chuckling "I can't howl properly..!"

"Didn't anyone teach you?" He said looking at your blue and red eyes "No thier weren't any wolves like me You kinda have to be born into a pack to be accepted or be considered a threat..Remember when you ask me about home?" He nodded

"I had a pack but it only consisted of Me and another a boy close to my age just a bit older He was like me only difference was he didn't so much care for his other wolf half as much though he was something, we lived amongst other people but well enough away...Then one day when shield was out to come get me I separated from him realizing they were only after me After I got away for some time I decided we should leave..I went to track and I found Rumlow and inside behind was him in his wolf form...I know it was Rumlow he told me..He had the fur on his uniform...." His men spread around him...He looked at me ready to shoot.." "Then?" He said calmly "I had to attack them In order to get out I heard people coming" You looked out into the city lights

"That's when Clint and Nat brought me in..That's the end." "I'm so sorry y/n.." He sat up rubbed your back stroking your fur. "Bucky looked out the window hearing the conversation Tony sat listening playing with his fingers. "It's alright It's not bottled up at least." You turned to him resting on his leg your tail wagging. He softly smiled. "I know....I'm not a wolf but maybe I could teach you...?"

Your tail wagged. You laid back onto cap's chest. With Tony and Barnes listening to you and him howl..It wasn't bad Steve's howl did sound very realistic to you at least considering how much experience you lacked. It was now 4:05 Unfortunately Cap had fallen asleep very calmly. Along with Tony and Bucky sound asleep. You smiled your ears perked up turning looking at the moon. Both your eyes glowed....
